Me too. Had the pace 2 for 2 years. Now that upgrade. What an unbeatable, sturdy and accurately measuring beast! Not so complicated and playful like Garmin.
They would probably have to pay license fee for every piece of watch leaving their factory. ANT+ is technology owned by Garmin and they sure let others pay. So it's probably cost-saving reason.
@@fre4kingpotato79 Let's have a look at battery life: Forerunner 955: GPS: 42h; All Systems 31h; Multi-Bnad 20h Coros Apex Pro: GPS: 75h; All Systems 45h; Multi-Bnad 25h So Coros is better - but definitely not 4x, more like 1,5x. That is nice but I would argue that for most users will be even the 42 hours of FR955 enough. Don't get me wrong - it is nice to have longer battery life but once it is over cca. 24hours it is enough for most single-activity usages. Then it is just about convenience of not needing to charge it so often. For me personally, better maps on Garmin are the deal breaker for outdoor usage. But everyone will find out his own feature that is important to him and it will be probably better on Garmin.
@@m.topfer True. I am currently looking for a new watch as I have been a garmin user for a very long time, and everytime something has happend. I am on my second Instict Solar first gen , as the first one took like 10 mins to get gps signal so I sent it back, and now this new one again same thing and sometimes turns off when I have a gpx file loaded and it will just randomly turn off during the activity :( any recommendation will be much appriciated :)
been waiting for this for 6 months since my garmin could not track my 2 days hike with navigation (and battery died).
Count me in !
Exactly. Sick of charging my Garmin during ultra marathon runs
COROS product team is amazing, they really did it.
Beautiful ad... makes me want to run there.
Coros killing it again! The product looks amazing, I'm just frustrated I got my warranty replacement right before this was announced and not after lol
Amazing, can't wait to try it out !!
When comes to EUROPE?
Looking great. Love the looks of the watches. I'll probably get the Apex 2 down the line.
got mine pro 2 in grey

Great video!
The runners look like they are freezing! Coros, give them some clothes! Seriously though congrats on your new launch.
Nice watch, but Pace 2 is best choice for me!
Nice.
Hello, étanchéité a 5atm ça pose aucun soucis pour la douche ou se baigner en mer??
Amazing! But why without ANT+ support? What's wrong with it?

Well done!
Nice update but nothing ground breaking. Will be tough to compete against Garmin FR955 for the same price.
It will be easy to compete especially with the FR955 as it has quadruple the battery life, with almost the same features.
