The G5N1 used to not be able to rotate the rear turret, because they didn't model that funny rotating mechanism. So what ended up happening was that you had great vertical guidance, but only a couple of degrees of horizontal guidance on the rear 20mm. Thankfully that is fixed now.
If you land a hydroplane and wait for the repairs/refuel/rearm, you spawn back in flight above the airfield but if you then land again without damage you can J out and it will not count as a plane lost, so you could switch load-outs and respawn back above that airfield.
love the Japanese bombers for ground and naval especially the H6K and H8K they are some of the most beautiful looking plane models in game. Hoping the Ki-48 and G3M eventually make their way into the game
I love how the land based heavy bombers look in Japan and I appreciate their speed. Also some defensive armaments are impressive. Sadly I'm not sure I'd want to mess around with so low bombloads. As far as hydro bombers go, I'd rather start seeing German and especially Italian examples in the game!
I am fond of the Japanese bombers, squishy yes, but with nice defensive armaments with 20 mm cannons quite early as well. Bombload is quite light though for sure, but I usually go for the few larger bombloads they can carry. I would also like to see more Dorniers in the German tree and Italian ones as well for sure.
The Ki-67-I, especially the Otsu, is in my opinion, the best bomber in the game, even with the poor bombload. As you said, it is extremely fast but currently with the high explosive rounds for the 12.7s, makes this very well defended. I have used it in the fighter role and my stats currently are at 85 deaths to 496 kills. It is truly unstoppable if your aim is good.
Its incredible, but today i won to my team whole game, twice today i had 5 kills, 1 destroyed base without death, my tactic is fly 640-650 km/h to base, allways 1 plane chase you, your speed is 500 km/h so speed is big weapon, usually first enemy i kill is without scratch on my plane, because he think im weak, if you want, i can send you my 2 best games for today, but i dont know how :D trust me, 5 kills in one game, but twice today
The Ki-49IIb vs the Late model has no performance differences but the exhaust is actually modeled on the engines… what’s funny is that the Late used to be a much higher BR than the regular in air arcade. Very strange but clearly gaijin is being lazy here

I don't know why but if I had to choose between the B-17 and the G4M1 I would choose the Betty but I don't have an explaination for it. I like its mobility though, just I need to learn to use it for ARB and GRB. (And maybe not bring it at 6.3 when I get constant uptier, sometimes full uptier with tanks😅)
And I came back, I just unlocked the H8K2, didn't play with it yet but it was super easy, thanks to my already spaded G4M1 (of which somehow got changed place with this hydroplane, at least based on this video) and my newly unlocked B6N1 Model 12 (which is imo just a downgrade from the Model 11, because lost its only offensive machine gun, which wasn't much and was finnecy to aim, because it's in the middle of the left wing but at least has the option to fight back)
I would still spawn in the air, you can always just hang back and wait until the fighters are at each others throat and then join the fray. Depending on the bomber climbing to altitude can be a chore.
Hi Dan, the Ki 21 has two different 7.7 mm weapons. On the one which can use the universal belt used that and I would actually just use the default belt on the second weapon, since that gun does not have access to the universal belt. Sadly the only belt with the Incendiary bullet in the second weapon is the default one and we do love to set things on fire 🔥

Finally got my ki 67 1 otsu, I love it.
One key note for the h6k and h8k are their ability to carry two torpedoes allowing it to one shot some sizeable ships in Naval battles.
I love playing the H8K2 it performs so smoothly

there is a fold-out button below the H6K4 you can click on. That will extend the mini tree for the H8K2.
On a Operations map you need 3 800 Kg Bombs. Or still 2?
