This may be a stretch, but I remember this song being on an old VHS preview before First Contact. It was an ad for all Star Trek media at the time. If it’s a reference to that, then hats off to STO for calling back to an old VHS commercial.
I happened to be in the middle of the final battle in the TFO when I suddenly realized what was playing in the background. It distracted me enough that I nearly crashed into the moon. Thanks, Devs.😋
I feel uncultured for thinking of the Superman theme just because of 0:25 ...in my defense, much of the rest of the music is difficult to hear through the dialogue and weapons fire.
Did you ever watch Apocalypse Now? The scene on the beach with the Hueys coming in blasting this song while annihilating the VC? I'd say it fits fairly well.
@@MDMetal no song fits for the mission just my team for that instance didn't fit and we were down two ships from start so three ships 1 cruiser and 2 escorts not intimidating at all.
