That only works if you have a defined double eyelid. It won’t work as well for droopy eyelid or those with minimal double eyelid.

cool it’s not supposed to. idk if u know this but not all eyeliner shapes suit every lid type. this eyeliner trick is clearly just for people w this type of lid? im sure you can look up tutorials for those specifics shapes and you’d find them ??
That’s not true actually, you can do this one any eye shape, you just make the wing bigger on droopy eyes and smaller on smaller eyelids
this is amazing! I have hooded eyes and trying to get the wing just right takes me 10 minutes lol. I'm def trying this today!

Have you tried doing the liner with the eye open? Looking directly into the eye, you make the lines, when you close the eyes, it actually isn't a straight line. There are many tutorials, hope it helps!
It doesn't work for hooded eyes.

It will dip in under the hood and make the tik look strange
For hooded eyes, keep your eye open, relax your brows and start drawing where you want your wing to sit. Once it's in the right place, you can close your eye and do the rest. Also, look up Jaime French's tutorial on winged eyeliner for hooded eyes, it works perfectly!

I very much disagree. You do some slight compensation but otherwise it works great and looks great. Why are we doing this? The object is to make the eyes appear larger - larger includes longer. You might want to consider a lighter touch and I myself prefer light browns for my blonde hair & green eyes. My mom is 84. She looks great using this.

This is a good one for hooded eyes ive been doing that since early 2000s
PERFECT AND SIMPLE! 🎉🎉Also, she DOES HAVE HOODED LIDS, however everyone's hooded eyes aren't the same so it may take a little more patience or eye lid space. Keep trying and don't give up. YOU got this!

@@meganmassey2017 surprisingly, it does work, it gave me similar looking wings on both eyes (win), but quite thick ones, I gotta say I traced it with dark eyeshadow first, before going in with actual eyeliner over it and I'm glad I did that. I did this again today and had the same results 😁✅
