How To STOP Kajal/Eyeliner from Smudging! 💯

- In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to stop or prevent your kajal, eyeliner or eye pencil from smudging.
Kajal eyeliner can smudge due to several factors. Here are a few common reasons:
Oiliness: Kajal eyeliner tends to smudge more easily on oily skin. The natural oils produced by your skin can break down the formula of the eyeliner, causing it to spread and smudge.
Humidity and moisture: High humidity or excessive moisture can also contribute to smudging. When the environment is humid or if you have watery eyes, the moisture can cause the kajal eyeliner to run and smudge.
Application technique: The way you apply the kajal eyeliner can affect its longevity. If you apply the eyeliner on your waterline, where your eyes tend to be more moist, it can smudge more easily.
Quality of the product: The quality of the kajal eyeliner itself can impact its smudging tendencies. Some products may have a formulation that is more prone to smudging, while others may be designed to be long-lasting and smudge-proof.

Smitha... I used to do the exact same mistake of applying th kajal 'on/in the waterline' instead of lash line, as you have shown. I saw you explaining this in one of the recent videos and started using close to lash line. Oh what a world of difference it made! It stays put 90% even when I'm not following these additional steps in this video. It does move a bit to skin/folds below eyes due to sweating. But very slightly. Not like before, when it would disappear in 2 hours! Now I'm gonna try this make it bulletproof ❤

@@SmithaDepakbut what about someone who has big rounded eyes like me when I apply the kajal on my lower lash line they become bigger unlike when I apply it on my waterline it makes my eyes smaller ( which is exactly what I want) and I love how they look like when I apply kajal inside my eyes. Wonderful advice! I'm going to experiment this weekend and see if I can get this to work. I have dark undereye circles which are difficult to cover no matter what technique I use, and lining my lower lash line invariably caused the dark color to drift down and emphasize my dark circles even more. If using the traditional colour correction options don't work for you (like orange or yellow, to combat blue & purple undertones), then have you tried a peach colour corrector instead?
Then apply concealer/ foundation in your actual skin tone colour over the top of the concealer.

I have made comment before and I can't stop giving enough credits to this vlog.I had everything when I saw this vlog, and yet I bought COLORPOP 's pressed powder let's do it, cloud nine, private party. and from amazon 26mm empty eyeshadow palette . amazing experience. it stays for such a long time, I don't wear a lots of makeup in daily life when I go out for casual dinner or so. just eyeliner and lipstick. and smitha's vlog worked so well for me!

Yes I saw one of your older videos that explains this. I switched to the Essence pencil and put eye shadow on top. Not a single smudge. And I live in NE OK, it's 100 percent humid a lot of the time. This works 💯. Ty for an updated video!

@@beckiamy3329 essence long lasting eye pencil in the color black fever. Its not as long wearing if you have watery eyes but no skin transfer.

Hey smitha ! Love your content. Want to know your thoughts on becca brightening peach corrector. I'm an Indian with medium skin tone. Some people have said that it's too creamy and hence will settle in the creases. I have fine lines and under eye dark circles. But I want to look put together for my business meetings. Please let me know your final thoughts on it. And also do a wearability test (will it settle in the fine lines if worn for too long).

I do this always and before putting kajal I wipe off moisture on my kajal area with cloth or tissue . It helps 😊
