Use the Instructions to show you how to install the barrel. 1st open the Bolt, insert the barrel then the forearm then the end cap nut! Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection and Shells and you can Rock n' Roll!
Depending on what type of birds you are hunting, putting that gun together may have been the easy part(lol). I know from experience!!!! You and your son will make memories that will last a lifetime! Good luck on your hunt!

I picked one up myself last month [sx4 12g fde], and struggled with the assembly. I previously had a Browning maxus. You did very well on the price. I'm in Europe, they're made in Portugal. I nearly cried when i heard what you paid, it cost me a 'lot' more. 😢 How are you finding it for bird hunting? 🐦
I hate to ask how much you paid- the gun is solid though. I would have paid full price for it if I had too. As far as birds - I haven’t had an opportunity yet- I am working on setting up a few quail hunts soon so I can give it a try. Hoping to get good video footage so I can post it here. It rocks at skeet!

Yep- manual helps for sure- thing shoots like a dream.
Just bought the sx4 hybrid hunter for dux n geese. Will book a trip out west to do some pheasant hunting too.

Solid no frills as you said. I put a couple of spacers in the stock, for a better fit.
