NOPE we drafted that garbage bust Holtz who just got done embarrassing himself again in the playoffs. Also I am one of the VERY SMART few who realize and is beyond pissed how San Jose FLEECED us for Meier. We gave up for one Nikita Okhotyuk who is just as good as BAHL whom I love. Question who do you think is better Timo or Taylor Hall? We didn't get half of what we got for Hall a the Sharks got from us . Did you get the 2022 Hockey News Annual Magazine Futures Watch? Why? Question, if you have a rookie Scott Niedermeyer do you want him playing or in a press box? His Hockey IQ is off the charts, did you hear him talk today? How much have you seen him play? I have seen 45% of him this year and as soon as we put him in the lineup he is our best skating D man and plays with a confidence beyond his years. I rather deal with a mistake from him than Severson. Also he will be paired with Marino who was his collegiate D partner Adam Fox......PERFECT. Again, he offers a dynamic to our D that we have not seen since Rafalski and Scott Niedermeyer....that move he made vs the Caps....only Niedermeyer would have that confidence to make that move and he used Jack as a pick....it was brilliant

The Devils narrative in these playoffs is shaping up to be a legend. One rookie.. Schmid.. was called in to play in a big gamble and he helped come back from an 0-2 deficit to beat the Rangers in the 1st round. Now facing the same 0-2 situation in round 2, the Devils are turning to rookie Luke Hughes. Just imagine if the Devils came back to win it again? I think it's 100 to 1 shot, but would be something else. I personally see Devils maybe winning 1 game and that's it.

In all fairness... kudos to The Canes' they are playing flawless hockey & the biggest part of their success right now is they are punishing The Devils with big time hits & after watching Nico Hischier their Captain get pummeled & put on his ass with no response from the Devils told me exactly where this series is going.... if The Devils don't pick their moments to hit back & play some sort of physical game this series is going to be over real quick... I'm seeing the result of these big time hit on a lot of Devils players showing the scars of being hit... they better wake up... again I'm a Devils fan but I take my cap off to The Canes' I like their style of play.... reminds me of the old Devils team....
