- I bought this subwoofer to just fill a gap while I was getting some warranty work done, boy was I surprised when it ended up replacing my much more expensive primary. It's not the best thing out there I promise, but for this price, you'll have to spend 5 times as much to even get something close.

Thanks for your efforts Dave in all your Videos. If i have watched one Video on Basic Loudspeaker DIY, I have watched a hundred. I dont think there is one supreme video on the subject. In order to gain a full range of useable knowledge one needs to watch a full range of Loud Speaker DIY. Thumbs up on all your Videos. Carry on.
I'm glad you like the effort I'm putting into learning and sharing. There's way more to learn than what I ever expected. I do enjoy it though and I'll soon start posting again.
The Bic PL300 a friend had, tested well with deep bass on Audioholics, sounded/felt very good.
I just got a great deal on a Klipsch RP1600 for $1100.
Still waiting on it to arrive.
For the price it's impressive. Let us know how it turns out.
@@davewiebespeakerdesign The Klipsch RP1600 has been nothing short of great for me so far with both movies and music.
It’s definitely a huge sub. I’ll be making a custom tv stand so I can keep it in the center of my tv wall. It’s a little directional so I prefer it in front of me. I don’t even use it with a lot of gain. The dial goes to 11 and I use it on 5.
I’m running it with 4 Def Tech towers and Center (all of which have subs built in).

Pioneer Elite 505 Receiver with Dirac.
Everything I own I’d definitely recommend to anyone.
