    Might want to look into Cynefin’s Sense-Making and Estuaries models. 37:20 with the note regarding measures and interpretation… these work well for analysis in complicated situations though complicated situations are deterministic and predictable. Most our surprising safety concerns come from complexity, however, which tie to those things which are not deterministic. “Need to know where you are” sure, but “need to know where you want to be” only works in complication not complexity. Know where you are and see a general sense of direction but not a destination in the complex. See both Scott Page’s lectures here on RUclips and Dave Snowden speaking to “the next best thing.”
