We were at Tusker House 2 weeks ago and the character interactions were the best we have ever had at Disney!! They each came to the table 3 or 4 times and Daisy literally sat with my 9 month old for 10 straight minutes playing peek a boo and making him laugh! Core memory for sure!

Boma, by far! There was a lot you didn't try. The salads are wonderful, and I woulda been trying alllll those soups/stews! Boma has stayed consistently fantastic even through Chef changes. Love AKL, love Boma. Another great review!
I have only ever eaten breakfast at Boma. It was really good. Tusker House has good food too, but trying to not miss any of the characters can be stressful. Less stress, and still good food, Boma wins for me, and you don't need a park ticket to eat there. Bonus!

Tusker house breakfast was amazing went few years ago right before buffet reopened from pandemic and was still amazing. Was my daughter's first character meal at 2. She ate so much, we went on the safari right after and slept the ENTIRE ride 😅🤦
Tusker house mac and cheese is a chefs kiss! My whole family loved it, even my picky eaters who can't ever agree on anything! I agree with you also for Boma soups and stews!

The chef came out at talked to us regarding my son’s food allergy. Everything was super fresh and the atmosphere was great. My husband had a great character interaction with Donald and Daisy. He proposed to Daisy and started a feud with Donald 😂

The only time we have eaten at Tusker House is when it was a quick service place. This was way back in the early 2000s. I've never eaten at Boma but I would like to. I also haven't eaten at Saana but I have had the bread service and it was awesome. We are planning on taking some family there in September to try the bread service. I am not big on character meals, so I would go with Boma.
Definitely a Tusker House fan. But I love a character meal. 😍 Pretty much most of Disney dining is on the expensive side, so if I'm shelling out more than $50 bucks a person then I REQUIRE table side character visits. 😂

Subscribed after seeing you on Nate's vlogs! I LOVE Tusker House for breakfast. My favorite there is their overnight oats and I absolutely love their Cape Malay Chicken Curry. With some Joffrey's Tusker House Coffee and POG juice, yum! I need to try Boma next time I'm there!
We'll never eat at tusker house again after watching the staff "clean" dirty tables and dishes, wipe the tables with dirty water out of a bucket, then handle the silverware for the tables without washing their hands. Totally disgusting, even pointed out to management who blew it off.

Just last night we were thinking of our next WDW trip and I said to my husband we should do Boma for us and Tusker House for the kids (since it is a character meal). We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which in my opinion is one of the best and Boma is right there❤ Great video! Thanks as always for your honest review 👍

Tusker House...you have to realize that you must have a park ticket! That makes this an unfair comparison. Overall, I do think BOMA is one of the best restaurants on property.

So I’m treating myself to a solo lunch at Tusker House while my boys do the trek. I didn’t want to use other vacation time in character lines for Mickey and friends if they will sign my souvenir at Tusker House. Thanks for all of your videos. I have a number of must try snacks on my list because of you. 😀

Hands down Boma. We didn’t even like tuskerhouse and we’ve been twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner.

I used to go to Boma when it was $25 a person. Their mulligatawny stew is the best thing I’ve eaten at Disney ever.

I must admit, we are way more excited to eat at Boma than Tusker House. I will keep an open mind and probably eat at both.

Darn, with a nut and peanut allergy, it looks like it would be hard to eat at Boma.
They are not comparable. If you're in AK and have kids you go to Tusker. If you're not planning a park day and are all grown up go to Boma.
They are both buffets offering the same cuisine, sounds similar enough to me
