Oh, the pain of not knowing the outskirts (2nd mission) skips. You can skip the entire first section, and then all the jackel snipers.
No idea if you've started the rest or not, but on the fifth mission, Delta Halo, you can hold right and run right past the first wave-survival section of the mission.
