These are my thoughts on the new closure and some history that you might not know

It's hard to blame Zamperla, as they were asked to do something that is so different from what they normally do. I do blame Cedar Fair, because it's their petty grudge against Intamin that's the reason for all of this. I'm not personally bothered by it, as TT2 had always been very low on my priorities, and I don't have plans to go there this or next year. But I hope they get it open soon for your sake and others that will be going.

I think its funny that this coaster has caused 2 of cedar points biggest mistake. But i think they wasted money redoing it. It seems the whole reason to redo it was to get rid of the reputation from the 2021 accident. Which could be avoided during the 2023 revamp. By leaving the hydraulic launch and moving the queue. It's still at the same risk of injuring someone. CP other reason was reliable. Well look how that turned out. No i dont believe its Zamperlas fault. But at the same time i think it would still be down if CP picked another company. A 400 ft swing launch has never been done. Unironically tje hydraulic launch has been a tried and true method more than an LSM when it comes to insanely high coasters. The only other 2 LSM coasters that are close to tt2 and kas height are superman at MM and redforce. Both are 15 feet or more shorter in height. I think they should've stuck with the hydraulic launch. At least those onky go down for a few hours and at most a few days instead of almost 2 months. Im also mainly mad at the lack of updates. If tt2 is not going open and you are unsure of that i get that. Then at least make an update stating itll be best to expect it to open in 2025 and if it opens sooner then great. But this whole lack of an update in the first week in june is ridiculous. This was CP chance to keep a good reputation with this ride. The smallest amount that was left that is. And they blew it on both the revamp and how they are handling the updates. At this point i think it should torn down and call it a lost. Itll free up space for more better coasters. Womp womp that its the first strata i dont really care. At some point you have to admit its a failure and remove it and move on

Cedar point is not allowed to operate on it for 3 yrs only the manufacturer and looking at thier time-line people will not get to ride until 2025
TT2 was only open for 8 days and already pulled a steel curtain 💀
At least I got to ride Steel Curtain (July 15, 2023)
