@@whitewolf2727 They can fix the sword with magic. Swords just weren't used at the time. It's why Trunks' sword broke the second fight in and he never used it again. By time Super came around Toriyama wasn't drawing the panels, so we got Trunks using swords all through his arc.

I liked elder kai because as whimsical as he may be he functions as the only connecting line connecting the previous supreme kai lineage to Shin. As previously stated Shin was chosen as the grand supreme kai by elimination, and he never finished his training as a kai so hes grossly under trained which is why hes so weak. In the few seconds we got of grand supreme kai the dude was a beast and he definitely wouldve destroyed buu with the z fighters if he was still around.
Zamasu before killing Gowasu as Kai in training was putting up pretty well with Goku just after the Universe 6 Tournament, just shows what Shin could have been, or could be, he still looks young for a Kai so he could be trained

The supreme kais are considered the Lord of lords for a reason, above even king Kai and the grand Kai himself and several ranks higher than Kami/Piccolo which is why he shit himself when he saw supreme Kai. Hell DBZ makes it explicitly clear Shin never finished his training with elder kai and the dialogue I don't get how fans caught onto that. I kind of like what they did with Zamasu and Gowasu as well because those guys are trained supreme kais. Zamasu especially, he was pretty lethal in the black arc though I wished they showcased him more than Goku black.

So... why not make a sword out of that material from the block? He was able to summon a block of it out of nothing. Shouldn't be that difficult to craft some kind of weapon instead of just a block.

He only became mystic after the supreme Kai made him mystic
