- In this Piano Accompaniment lesson, we look at 5 Left-Hand bass rhythm patterns which can embellish any melody in the right hand and transform what you might already know with chord playing into something professional. We focus on a variety of genres and musical moods to develop patterns for all occasions and scenarios - Movie Theme Songs, Groovy music, Dance music, Lounge Piano music, and what we call the “Magic Arpeggio”

Just amazing....!!
Thank you so much!
Great video! You dont repeat the same things as most videos. You give great context behind the choices for the LH accompaniment. And i like that you have an improvisational style. Will definitley watch more! You also dont have those goofy offputting thumbnails making an exagerrated facial expression. Sold!
Thank you so much Anthony! Glad I could help! Have fun watching my videos and also playing the piano!
Sir watching your beautiful playing which are inspiring. 🙏
So nice of you Mani!
Jason will always be my guy. You should do a whole lesson on the stride method; what exercises can you recommend for always landing accurately on the destination chords after those big jumps from the root?
Noted! WIll plan this! It's not my usual style of Piano playing though but I'm working on it myself!
You are an Awesome Piano player Jason
Thanks so much Colleen!

Could you please do a lesson on Orchestral/Cinematic composition, this to know how to borrow keys from scales or use combination of scales to come with music composition, which will help to create for different genres? My question might be incorrect, but hope you got what i meant.
Great suggestion Sharath! We do these lessons very regularly in our workshops where I can play existing music and show students. With RUclips it gets tricky but will figure this out!
@@nathanielschool Awesome. Awaiting for it, thank you Jason.

Thanks a ton. Could you write to music@nathanielschool.com with a couple of things:
Your WhatsApp number
A short recording of you playing the Piano
What you would like to learn with Jason?
Thank you very much for the various techniques brought forward by u . I was always using 1/3/5 arepeggio which u correctly pointed out sounds monotonous and unprofessional . The teresso is fantastic … I always used to wonder how to do that on a piano …. The old song Quando Quando my old time favourite would sound very good can I request u to send me a short tutorial on the same … as of now I am playing on a Yamaha which has the accompaniment beats …. I need to get out of that dependency . Best regards . Anil Ratra
Most welcome Anil!
Ure genius
You are too kind 🙏🏽
Waiting sir very important lessons for me
Awesome Raj! Coming up!
Thank you for the video, many ideas to work on here. Question for you: in the magic arpeggio section, what is the melody you play after the Godfather theme, many colours, ends in Bb? Thank you again, appreciate your videos.
Thanks so much for your Shraddha!
Glad you asked about the song I sneaked in after "The Godfather". It's one of my songs, "Plight". You can have a listen here: www.reverbnation.com/allegrofudge/song/5977265-plight#:~:text='Allegro%20Fudge'%20is%20an%20acoustic,inspiration%20from%20our%20everyday%20lives.
In the intro, during the last pattern, what was that little run/fill thing you did? Could make a video explaining it?
Yes! Will plan a lesson around this Taqi. In the mean while, can you see my lesson on Fills - ruclips.net/video/_Y70oRzMblU/видео.html

What is different between this 5 ways of left hand and all on one right hand piano?
These are accompaniment patterns for the Left Hand Simson. Hope we've got your question right!
Sir Is it important to play arpeggios from root position
In the LH usually it helps to play arpeggios in root position if you are playing solo. In a band context, you could use inversions.
However, if you are using Slash Chords then you need to see if you need Tension & Resolution
I would like to learn to play piano with you I am n old man by the way do you sell your dvd of teaching

Another Great helpful video👍.
Sir plz also make a video about career in music production and various aspects of music post production like mixing, mastering etc.
In last 8 months i learnt alot about mixing and how to use a DAW, mine is FL studio. I have also composed and produced some songs.
I also mixed 60+ English songs of various genres that i got from a free website that lets you download stem tracks of those songs. My mixed songs sounds really good. I feel i am naturally good at mixing. But i don't see any opportunity to showcase my skills to people who needs it. Where and how could i find a place where i can offer my art. Plz guide me to find an opportunity for the same.
I even have a profile at upwork but i don't see any job offer coming to me.
Plz help me with you advise. Thanks
Will focus on more Production video Gurpreet. Perhaps you can stay tuned to this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLrNNL05e9FT-oDECTqn5vGPkDtSK905jC

Unfortunately it's hard for me to knock off the octave because my hands are too small((
Try moving your wrist sideways Natalie to stretch further at least by an extra inch. Will that work?
OMG.. it's is so kind of you to take your time to reply my comment. Bless your beautiful soul...@@nathanielschool
Twinkle twinkle??
Sounds like the ABC song. 😁
Yeah! One of them! You get the idea!
Are these good for fake books?
Of course. We will cover a few more patterns in the coming tutorials!
