I did Jasper to Vancouver island trip two years ago, it definitely is beautiful out there but can also be dangerous if you're not prepared. I would say fuel up and book hotels and then decide where you're headed for the day. Airbnb would also be a good choice if it has credible reviews. May book a guided tour where you can, those are definitely fun and worth-it.

Although I live in BC, Kelwona, also do Vloging, but I enjoy your Vlogs of Alberta and BC. I am enjoying your perception and commentary about country life in Canada, particularly BC. BC has three main regions, 1- Rocky 2-Main land (Okanagan valley, Fraser Valley, and Thompson River Valley) which is desert area and then 3- rainforst area (Vancouver and Vancouver Island)
I also lived in BC, Richmond. But Currently I am permanently in San Francisco. I would add to your comment about Hamza's Vlog - I think main audience - viewers & subscribers are from Pakistan, that's why he keep referring to culture comparison - to 'norms here' compared to there. I actually started following him about 2 years ago while I check Abrar's (Wildlens) RUclips video. Where can I find your Vlogs?

Rana Sb, In both the US and Canada, suburban areas, including small towns, villages, and even some cities, can feel quiet and even empty, particularly after evening sets in. This will feel bit strange for those coming from places where life starts in the evening. People in these countries tend to be early risers and go to bed early. It's not common to see people hanging around on street corners and engaging in neighborhood watch activities. stay blessed and enjoy your explorations.
What you have said was true 20 years ago. Most people will go to bed by 8 pm here in USA. But not anymore, after the smart phones. The main reason for quietness is the very low population.

Plaza hotel in which you stayed is haunted
I stayed there in 2017 and seen a group of old ladies laughing in the lobby at 2am.
I called reception to stop them so I can sleep but he replied no old ladies are staying in the hotel and when he came to check himself it was all quite and clear

You should visit Crowsnest pass, ab. It’s also peaceful like this village and has lots of beautiful lakes and areas you can visit. And it takes 8hrs and 30mins to go from kamloops to Crowsnest pass.
Wow, this bring back memories. I traveled by road with my family from Michigan to Western USA, Western Canada & Mexico. We drove 12,800 km (8,000 milrs). We stayed one night in Kamloops.
