you need to make LED on the helmet too so it looks even better together if you make led red or orange and on the helmet too it looks like ghost rider from the movie
Hello Stunt freak team, do you mind if I use a portion of this video, in a compilation of short stories I am doing. in return i will credit your channel & video
Legit gonna do this for my Ninja 400 later on. I've seen before / after footage of night time riding (especially in intersections), and the bikes go from being practically pitch black invisible (even with headlights on) from the side, to being unmissable by anyone within 1km. Absolutely brilliant safety feature, and the fact it looks cool as fuck is a bonus. I'd say LED wheels are more accurately "lights save lives" than "loud pipes save lives". I'm thinking there might be a way to either add a "rim" on the outside of the lightstrip so it isnt directly visible, but just the glow from it (and the glow from the top will still illuminate the ground below etc). Or wrapping them around the hub of the wheel instead to again mostly get the glow without the high intensity LED bulbs showing much.
You can also use the micro LEDs that are used in the LED balloons and with coin-type batteries that are included in this micro LED lights, they last a lot and you do not have to do anything weird to put them and they shine very well
This is so awesome and unique it inspired me to do this to my two fat tire bikes and the comments I get are all positive I like it for the fact that you can see it coming down the trails.
Hola, ahora puede obtener tiras de led de 5 V y con la función rgb puede colocar una batería de litio 18650 y adaptarla a estas sin mucha complicación.
I've had the same idea of lighting up my rims with led's for a long time but I always thought they would just look ugly covered in glue like you guys thought. Now I know how to get around it like you guys did just wrap the rim then glue it. My other thought was that they wouldn't last very long either durability wise. I'd love to see an update after the show and see if they are still working.
Can somebody explain to me the connection? how can he connect the power to a turning wheel? I did not see him do any adapter or anything or maybe I missed it. I want to do the same to my goldwing. Thanks.
he attached a batterie to the spokes of the wheel and made connection from the two led stripes of each wheel to a betterie so every wheel have its two led stripes and proper batterie ! that why the leds on the front wheel did't glow much on the end of the video the batterie for the front wheel wasn't fully charged ! greetings from Morocco send us a picture of your goldwing Im a great fan of

2:10 you can see him testing out the battery pack. He just attached it to the wheel on one of those metal rods. This wasn’t meant to be a fix that lasts forever. Like he said in the start, his plan was to use it on the bike show, then take it out later. You would probably need to have a rechargable battery pack or have a bunch of em to make it work 24/7
You can put a rechargeable battery inside the rim, use tubeless, drill a hole, run it through, then seal the crap out of it making it all nice and clean. I've seen it on street bikes
Would it be legal to have those and still drive on roads in Finland? I'm kinda quessing no... Looks sick though also what did u connect it to, to get power?
You should of gotten a Lunasee HiViz system that uses a high power UV LED that attaches to the fork or frame that energizes the special glow tape on the rims

nice looking, the only thing what i do not understand is how you connect a spinning wheel to the cable and the battery, i do not mean a battery pack, there must be a solution to use the motorcycle battery or not?
No. They glue small lipo battery onto the wheel and the led strip draws power from that. You can see one of their videos the front wheel led ran out of battery

how did you get the power supply to wheels; without any wire's getting tangled?
That's exactly what I was thinking.
I think they used battery powered LEDs and tied the batterie box to the spokes/wheel.
You can see a box when looking carefully...
they mounted a seperate lithium battery pack on the wheel hub,so it rotates with the led strips....
Bike is turn off.. and the led is still ON.. lithium detected
Lovin it dude! Rad for sure!
Alternating colors would be next level xD
How are the battery packs and light controls mounted?
