Why would you have ricochet come in, win the gauntlet and then immediately lose in a world title match?
Its a terrible idea.
I'm a huge Ricochet fan - the guys a phenomenal talent.
But, he's had years of being treat like a nobody in WWE, so immediately bringing him into AEW and pushing him to a world title match is a bad idea.
Reputations stick and take time to shake off. In the eyes of many fans now - Ricochet just isn't a major player. It'll take time to get him back up to that level, it can be done, but you've gotta build him to get there.
If AEW immediately try to make him a main eventer then all it says to the casual wrestling fan is 'AEW will happily take WWE midcarders/jobbers and make them main eventers'. That just hurts AEWs credibility.
I want Ricochet to do well, bring him in, make him a big deal, have him WIN matches and feuds and build him up to a World Title opportunity in 6 to 12 months time, suddently he'll feel legit - there's no rush - a Ricochet v Ospreay match can wait a year and will feel a big deal then.
I'm just not confident that TK won't do his flavour of the month style booking and try to push Ricochet too much too soon and it all falls flat. AEW firstly needs to get that 'Ricochet WWE midcard/jobber' stench off of him.
Because Tony and Dave and also Brian are marks and that's how tk always books things which is dum. This dream match booking they try is dum.

They act like Ricochet is a Top 5 talent. Guy has awesome spots and moves but he’s not a great pro wrestler.
He’s a cool addition but it’s not like you’re bringing in 2006 Rey Mysterio or something in
Pac being thrown into that tag match is a joke. Should have done a 20 min time limit draw with Rick O'Shea. Could have had a great match/feud
It takes 5 seconds to confirm that Bryan & Ricochet have never wrestled.
Always some excuse for the ratings. Almost like ANYTHING is more entertaining than Dynamite. Not the best look 🤔
Card is even better than last year, very pumped for the show!
I'm going to be at All In what I want to see is some surprises
VERY uninteresting card. Especially for the biggest AEW show of the year.
Its a 2 match card:
Swerve v Danielson (when the natural storyline should have been Swerve v Hangman). Swerves tried hard in the build for this, but Danielsons kinda been going through the motions. Adding the career stipulation hasn't really elevated this feud and the feuds been pretty flat.
MJF v Ospreay (which is a rematch of a match from a couple of weeks ago - so the anticipation has gone). And they passed up on MJF v Garcia (which they setup in storyline) and MJF v Pac (who's the actual #1 contender).
The rest of the card is kinda just there.
Toni Storms feud has been a decent build tbf.
The card should be good on the night, AEW tend to deliver in that respect, but I'm not itching to see the show by any means and that's not a good sign for their biggest show of the year.
@@paulevans6076 it just kind of shows where the company is right now. The weekly shows aren’t as good as they were last year or the year before. The pay-per-view is always seem to generally deliver, but I’m just not excited for the show at all.
@@mrrobert9176 it kind of feels like TK has forgotten how to build shows over the past 12 months. I remember this time last year with Forbidden Door, All In, All Out and Wrestledream - the cards all got booked so late with little to no build on TV. I remember not even knowing that Wrestledream was an actual PPV and not just a weekly TV special because of how little attention that show got into its build.
And its kinda been the same ever since.
I've been an AEW fan since day one, they've never been perfect, but for the fist 2/3 years or so they were delivering on TV, the shows were exciting, the booking was pretty decent.
For me it all started going downhill when ROH was brought into the mix. Suddenly we had another brand on the show and AEW felt diluted all of a sudden - I just don't think TK knew wjat to do with all the toys in his pram and everything kind of suffered and hasn't been the same since.
I get why they created Collision - but again, that's proved too much for TK to balance. As a result - AEW have a lot of TV time and and lot of wrestlers - but no real idea of how to cohesively and coherently use it all and focus it all into building shows that attract and keep audiences attention.
I'm hoping AEW can turn it around and regain what they had again in their opening couple of years.
WrestleMania could be in Dave's backyard, and he wouldn't attend. But AEW in London? Wrestling Observer is ALL IN.

When was the last time Dave and Bryan did an event in conjunction with a WWE PPV? They always whine about going to Mania but they gladly went over seas to London lol
I think its just the fact that wwe is fake and scripted entertainment unlike the all elite brand which is elite and real

I'm looking forward to all-in hopefully the PPV doesn't go past midnight especially since it's taking place on a sunday and that's been a huge problem for me because tony khan stacks these events with meaningless matches that could easily be saved for dynamite how can tony khan say that everything's great but the way he's been doing PPV'S since 2019 isn't working just by the fact it's too long.
Not sure where you are, but the pre-show starts at like 11AM on the east coast. Main show starts at 1pm Eastern. Hope that helps!

ALL IN is going to be a phenomenal show! I still want Swerve to win though, but man, did they do a great job building up Danielson's angle.
