My main rule for “collectors investing” is always buy what I would be happy if I couldn’t sell it. I just don’t like the aesthetic of the brickheadz, but I did buy a few copies of the phantom of the menace set, mainly cause maul. The Brickheadz give me funko pop vibes. Hate funko pops lol. Thanks again Jim
Stitch Brickheadz is a thumbs up.
I definitely jumped on the Brickheadz bandwagon in 2024, I think it is crazy how much better the individual sets do compared to the multi- packs. But, we will see as time goes on
Thanks, interesting, haven't tried it. Usually buy on minifigure collectability. The lego world had become so big. Lots to learn.
Grab some Transofmers.
The Truth comes out ! I like Brick Heads and I am going outside my comfort zone.
Issue with brickheads is no part exclusivity, you can source the parts pretty easily if you really like the model. Best of luck to you either way
There are cool unique parts, not a lot, but they are awesome. Look at the Darth Maul for example.
People are lazy and picky...they'd rather buy a brand new complete set especially with the box.
Issue for who?
The Disney Mickey was on my radar since it first came out to allow a good quantity over the year.
Brick Heads are the ugliest things. I don’t know why I am buying them and secretly keeping one on the side for me. It is like a deep secret that I don’t share.
Haha! My thoughts too!
I like the 10% off on Target cards at Target. I only saw it 2 times in 24. And it came at not so great times but was able to get some.
I enjoy the hunt for retired Brickheadz at Lego Stores. Was still able to find Tails and Shadow on occasion in January.
Those are still available.
Where?
Not an investor. Love the Mickey. Matches my other lunar new year stuff.
Nice!
How do you get the brick heads in quantity? You should make a video on that topic
It’s difficult get volume eg 200+. Multiple Lego accounts help. Also when set goes out of stock, you can buy again up to set limits. That and frequent trips to Lego store. FB groups also worth keeping eye on
All good info
Thanks!
Stitch !! Yes…..
I'm thinking that too!
Brickheadz is not a good investment unless you have an entire set (i.e. all the Marvel, or Disney characters). There's much better themes to but for investment potential.
Which themes do you prefer?
Hi Jim, regarding Stitch I am also on the fense but the Eeyore and Dumbo are sure fire winners, and the upcoming transformer bh. I think with the Stitch brick head, it will heavily depend on the movie performance so we will see
I think Eeyore is a sleeper.
Thanks, good video
Thank you!
Interesting to see the contrast between US and UK. These sets are doing nothing in the UK 😫
in UK and Germany LEGO is in the trash bins XD
Thanks!
Anytime!
You do know you kill the hobby for newcomers
Not true. Nice try though.
Thanks Jim
Thank YOU!
thanks jim
You bet!
Thank you Jim.
Thank YOU!
Arm sweeps @ full price Jones!!!
HAHA!
Thanks Jim...I did pick up a ton of Brickheadz last yr. I have about 20 Sonic and Tails each and 30 of the shadow/knuckles sets!
Very cool!
Were you hit with the recent Lego gating on Amazon?
I was not. Yourself?
This is terrible advice, the lego after market is inflated and its just going to crash in 5 years when youd actually sell these sets off, cus EVERYONE whos an "investor" is gonna try and sell all the sets they hoarded to sell off and its gonna be worth nothing. Same thing happened to funkos, same thing happened to beanie babies. Its all the same
Blah, blah, blah. Cry harder!
@@wolfofbricks i like how you didn't actually try to give a response you just sent a message that equates to you sticking your fingers in your ears
@@MrHangman56 The difference between Lego investing and Beanie Babies and Funko is that Lego has a nostalgia/playability factor that neither of those toys have. Adults in their 40's and 50's want to own/play with things they played with when they were children but could not afford/was not available.
@@octrustattorneyyep and that’s going to rinse and repeat with every generation.
It’s also the biggest toy franchise and system that’s been around a very long time and we have a lot of data on those values over a long period of time.
Thanks
Thank YOU!
