Girl, cry it out. You need it. I've been through a breakup, through let-downs, through failures, losing dear ones 2015... the loneliest I felt in my entire life. And still nobody gives you a break, cuz you gotta go to work, you gotta function etc. Society does not like people who have weak moments and that sucks. But I promise it truly gets better. Time does heal all of that. You gonna get out of it wiser, stronger, more appreciative and all the good things. I prayed a lot during that time, I cried a lot. It all led to a better me. xo
Yes we can see how happy you are when you are traveling and I was wondering how you felt about going from all of that to basically none and I am glad you are so honest with us...you didn't HAVE to vlog that but you chose to let us in on reality. My heart 💜 goes out to you too, Nikki. Adjustments can be really hard! This may sound corny or overly simplistic and I don't mean it that way, but have you given any thought to getting a dog? I know you travel, but could keep him with a friend. The reason I mention this is because I just got a dog a few days ago & am actually amazed at what a great companion he is. I don't feel as lonely, because my life - although totally happy, has some rough spots in it, too. It's comforting to have this tall, lanky doberman fella with me. He cracks me up! You see what i've analyzed from both Christian and you is that on a intellectual level you guys differ a lot. It's hard to explain but i think most people will agree with me when i claim that Nikki is a more intellectual person than Christian.
You can see and feel with every word that Nikki says that she actually thinks before she says anytthing. In the beginning of a break up things will hurt ofcourse... But you know what everything that doens't kill you make's you a smarter, wiser and stronger person. Life is all about the moment... Don't look in the past and live in the now, envision your future.

I was in a weird relationship years and years ago. The guy wasn't that great but I latched onto him because I was lonely and very sad. My parents were divorcing and I was very depressed because of all the changes that were happening. But, I would always smile and laugh and acted as though I was so happy. One day he sat me down and told me that he knew I smiled and laughed so much because I'm trying not to think about all the sadness and negativity going on in my life. He said it's okay to be sad, and that in order to heal I needed to have my days that were focused on me, and to just cry and feel my thoughts.That really hit me and from then on every smile I made or laugh I laughed was real. Every tear was real too. So Nikki when you smile and laugh all the time it is so motivating! Your positivity I know helps so many people! But it's okay to have those nights where you're sad because it's better to do that then it is to push it aside. You're amazing, thank you for all the inspiration!

I am going through a break up too and I immediately started crying with you when you were talking about having the lifestyle that you have with someone and then it just so dramatically being taken away. I totally agree with you and I felt like even though you didn't go into great depths talking about it I knew exactly what you were trying to say. I'm at a point to where life can be really lonely. I go to college completely away from all of my family and friends, and my ex lives in my hometown, so when I am at school it's like I'm busy and I'm happy but then times will just creep up on you and you realize how truly lonely and heartbreaking things can be. Enough about me, I love the blog and loving your energy I'm so proud of you and I know we can get through this!

Its part of truly becoming a strong person that can stand on their own. Many people say they can, but very few actually do. Honestly, something better (people, friends, opportunities, life, etc) will come along and you will look back feeling thankful to have gone through the struggles to get to a higher level of bliss. This is a little weird but I was talking to one of my students after class yesterday (my students arent much younger than me) about fitness and stuff and the ppl we follow on youtube came up, and I was telling him how much better off you seem now that you arent with CG anymore... You are really branching out and doing you and its awesome to see, not living in someone else's shadow anymore, and I think that's so so admirable
Love yourself, Know your worth. When you truly do, you'll spot a fake friend from a mile away. It takes time but you'll figure it out. When you have bouts of loneliness, stay offline. You can't help but compare your life with others. Remember comparison is the thief of all joy. Get outside, take a walk, hell take some classes is a great way to meet new people. Aw Nikki, don't be so hard on yourself! It's perfectly normal to feel that way, and everyone has there highs and lows. But the good thing is once everything falls into place you will contrast it with how you were feeling and realise how much better you feel. All of this will make you a stronger person. I know how it feels to be alone, but people will come into your life for the right reason at the right time. What I do when I feel alone is just read or listen to self help audiobooks, and a lot of the time it changes your thinking and helps you see the light at the end of the tunnel. This to shall pass beautiful. 💕

That's because when you love you love deep. And most of the world don't really get that. Many take that kind of loyalty and love for granted. Trust me Nikki, I've been there and it's def an eye opener. What I've learned is that I was forsaking all others for them , while they were forsaking me for all others. But in my moments of " alone-ness" and in the midst of my pain, God has let me know that He has neither left me nor forsaken me. I cry, journal, pray and share my emotions with God. The beautiful thing is He listens. You are definitely not alone. Stay blessed Nikki!

After my breakup I had to keep myself busy. Idle time was the WORST!!!! The gym really helped me not fall into depression.

The ending was real af, Nikki. It may of not been the prettiest or the nicest, but it was real and that's what a lot of RUclips videos/vlogs are lacking. They just edit out all the bad and make everything seem like it's sunshine and rainbows. Based on what you said about being happy while travelling and then being at home for the few days which is what brought you down, I think it's clear you need to travel as much as possible this year and figure out what you want to do moving forward. I know it sounds really obvious in terms of what I'm saying, but I just felt like if you heard it from someone else, it might help!

After a 4 year relationship it took me almost a year to feel happy and completely normal again even when I was chillen by myself. Eventually it will get better, just gotta keep your head up!

Was with someone for 5 years and literally everyone left and I made the decision to not only get out away from those "friends" but that area just like you. I agree!! I loved how happy she was being around Jaz. They share so many similar interests. Being lonely sucks...so I say surround yourself with those who love you and can help occupy a lot of that lonely time you would typically have in Houston.
If anything...maybe getting a true roommate would help too. A big empty house gets old after a while...even if you do love your house.
It's completely normal to go through this mourning process. You are rebuilding your life. It's good for people to see that you have struggles along with all your accomplishments. I'm right there with you Nikki. Some days are harder than others. You go from this routine life to all of a sudden a halt and that routine disappears. It's been 3 months since my breakup and there are still routine things that I have to focus on not doing anymore. But you are doing great! The fact that you are so open to sharing that last clip with us is amazing and we really appreciate and love your honesty. You'll get through this. When you're alone, know that there is always Maximus to keep you company and you can always text you friends. You've got this, we're all standing beside you Nikki!

I really appreciate your honesty, Nikki. It's not easy. When I went through my last breakup the last thing I wanted to do was talk to people, let alone tell thousands of people on the internet about it. You're so freaking strong, I admire you so much.
We've all been where you are and its so hard, especially when you're consumed by that person and so invested in their life. Being with Christian wasn't just your relationship, you were so involved with Alphalete, it's completely understandable why you feel like it's all been taken away. You're worth so much more than being someone's side kick, you can flourish and grow and be successful all off your own back so use this time to invest in yourself, use it to find your feet and eventually the pain will subside and everything will become so clear, you'll be able to look back with hindsight and think 'I've moved on to bigger and better things'.
Eff it dude, you need to get out Houston. You're travelling yeah, but you'll still be back at home where everything is familiar, and everything reminds you of the past. Gtfo there!

I commend your honesty. Nikki, just know that what your experiencing is just part of life. Everyone has or will go through something similar. Heartbreak is one of the worst pains ever and finding out your friends aren't really your friends is just as devastating. I know it's hard to see it right now, but consider this a blessing.
