I am a short human, a cat lover, & a total kid at heart.
I make vlogs, try-on hauls, get ready with me, workouts etc that are mostly about fitness / weight lifting workouts & adventures with friends, family, & cat companion.
My vlogs show how I balance being in my 20s and having fun, with working out and making sure my diet and health is on point too! I like to keep a nice, toned figure!
Glute & leg lifts are my specialty. :)

I don't see why people care if Christian is in Nikki's videos a lot. It's her life and if it's in her normal routine to spend time with him then people need to deal with it. Love your videos Nikki!! You both look so happy❤️

Love these edits. Zero issues with who you have in your vlogs or with who is holding your camera.
I don't know why so many people dislike these more professional quality vlogs since you literally do and say the same things only we can see you doing things that involve two hands. But, maybe for them a decent mix would be you vlogging like normal with the edited music+high quality clips interspersed.
A good channel to check out that does this quite well is The Michalaks. They're a family vlog channel but the husband really enjoys digital media and film so it's a mix of one on one vlog and VERY beautiful edited sequences.
They also had a lot of people complaining about the level of professionalism in their videos, but they were happy with the content they were producing, stuck to it, and now do everything extremely seamlessly. Steph does informative insta stories on how to edit videos as well.

I absolutely loathe these edits and the morons commenting "sick edit bro". I much prefer RAW footage. Placing cameras in the fridge to film you getting milk, only for you to shut the door then open to get camera out is silly. Everyone is doing this now, much to my annoyance. Too much silly editing and i turn off. Except when its Nicky.......i just cant bring myself to turn her off😊

I agree! I love that she's happy and has the opportunity to work with Kelvin to bring us more content. I think people just like to complain no matter what she does.

I loved the edit style of this vid. Felt like I was watching an episode of The Hills or something lol. Perhaps you can switch back and forth between standard vlogging style and this kind of cinematic edit for variety. Either way, Nikki you slay me :-)

What gets to me about this, is that at first, people were complaining that Nikki wasn't uploading enough. Then Christian said in one video that he was going to encourage Nikki to create and upload more videos, which we can see in Kelvin coming onto the scene; but instead of being happy for more Nikki they're now complaining about the style of the videos AND Christian being in them too much- the person who has been encouraging her to upload more. It just baffles me.

Dont get me wrong i love that CG and Nikki are back together, but theres a part of me thats also sad about it too bc I loved watching Nikkis empowerment videos about her heartbreak and it made me feel less alone by my own heartbreak. Idk, maybe Nikki could still make a video about how to continue to get passed that "grieving" stage of a heartbreak or something? It made me feel better knowing Nikki, freaking gorgeous, strong, independent, woman that she still goes through these life lessons. Also knowing that CG broke her heart the first time, makes me a bit skeptical about him now in terms of protecting Nikkis heart again ya know
how many videos one can make about a heartbreak? just go and watch those again. And cut this person out of your life completely. unfriend on facebook etc. it's the number 1 thing that helps.
So because you don't want to feel alone, you want Nikki to upload content that makes you feel better about yourself? Goodness gracious.

**constructive criticism** you can't call this a vlog if someone else is filming you. this is a documentary. it's not bad content, it's just not your content. and i don't think anyone really cares whose featured in it as long as it's shot from YOUR perspective. i'm sure you know this already but we LOVE that you two are back together (we got love for kelvin too, lol). we just got used to "independent nikki". don't forget how far you've come & how much your persevered!! **just some thoughts**

Kelvin only films what she wouldn't. He picks up the camera before she wakes up, while she's shopping.. we get to see MORE. And she takes over when she would normally film.
A Vlog...Is a blog in video format consisting of ones day, experiences, travels or events in one's life. There is no rule as to "who" holds the camera.
A documentary is a movie, television or radio reporting or documenting factual information .

Enjoyed the video! In this cut series, I know I would like to see more surrounding the foods you are eating and the workouts. Otherwise, it's your normal vlog, which is definitely NOT bad. Because the more videos the better. However, seeing what actual changes you are making in your life for the cut (food, workout, mindset, how you're staying motivated, etc), would be incredibly insightful and educational! Thanks again for the video and love that you are putting up videos more frequently!
love you, Nikki, and have been following you for years but all in all I don't think having anyone edit and film your videos is a good idea. We've become super accustomed to you filming yourself and having it super personal. This video is edited and shot really well but it seems so artificial and just not you. Please just keep it more raw and shot from your perspective

Might be bad to say, but I feel like part of getting back together was also for commercial reasons. I do love the quality of these videos, but def miss the classic Nikki style! Christian, let her do her own thing!!!!!

Sameeee I wanted to see how she was working out like the size and height of the hamstring machine or the size of the step up when she did lateral raises but it was all shots of her butt
Really loved the way this video was filmed, I felt like it brought out more of you. I especially liked the workout parts, I like how you explained what you were doing as well as show what muscles you were targeting and then filmed the exercise from different angles which showed the movement really well. Definitely enjoying your vlogs. Keep kicking butt in your workouts.
I really like this style of your videos too, it is more interesting to watch when there are different versions of vlogs!

I love this style of video! With someone else filming you I feel like we get to see more of you and the smaller details that usually get left out if it were just you filming. I also enjoy the way your workout was filmed. I liked that you talked us through it, it was very informative! And I liked the fact that you threw in some clips of you holding the camera and talking. It was a good combination of all styles and I loved it! And about the CG in the videos too much--if your life includes him, he's going to be in the videos. I want to see YOUR life, no matter what that includes or doesn't include. I don't watch your videos for anything else. I love you and keep doing what you're doing! You're an inspiration for us all!

Nikki I love that you're back at it. I love how raw & real you are. I love that you show real emotion like for example when an exercise is really difficult. I just started going to the gym in June (lost 27 lbs on my own) & sometimes it's discouraging to see videos where everything appears so easy for the RUclipsr. It gives me reassurance that it's ok to be tired or struggle. Also who cares if CG is in your videos? It's your channel geez people need to get a grip. This is your life & y'all seem super happy. Nikki, I started watching right when you and CG broke up and I loved you bc you came out of it so strong and independent. Finding yourself and living your life on your terms. I loved your daily vlogging even if it was random. This camera makes you look weird.. Lol. I think having it more personal and from your perspective is better.

Seems like most of these comments are just criticizing as if Nikki owes you guys something. It's your choice to watch her videos. You people should just appreciate the fact she puts in the work. It's ridiculous for you guys to sit there and judge.
It doesn't matter who's shooting her videos or what style it is. The "perspective" is a variable. People needs be more optimistic, respectful and appreciative.

I do see the point other people are making about this filming style, however I have to say as a photographer myself I LOVE this style of filming and seeing well executed edits - I think it really adds another level to your videos. Definitely agree with others, keep up with your usual filming, but its a nice visual treat to see higher quality tidbits! Keep it up! Do whatever makes you happy and there's nothing wrong with trying new styles!

I do like this style of vlogging but I also love your personable clips as well! Maybe you can do a mix of both. I find that the more professionals clips work really well as transitions between the personable clips. A good mix of both!
