Beautiful plants!!!
That is awesome. I just found your channel today and I can already feel your awesome vibes your warm personality.
And your love for plants !! ❤❤😊
I have 4 massive aloe plants. The mother is probably 8 years old. I wrap cloth around the plant before removing the pups. Saves a lot of stabbing.
the one in the video is a baby compared to mine. I guess I would call her massive also, thinking I needed to rename her from Vera to Audrey II (like little shop of horrors). I'm prepping to get her into the ground because she is so big. Her base from leaf blade to leaf blade is probably 5 feet. I'm struggling to find information on aloe veras as big as mine. Is yours in a pot or in the ground?
Such a great video! Gave me the confidence to repot mine, thankyou! x
Thank you! I’m glad I could help out
I have a really beautiful aloe that I’m repotting because it is very large and outgrowing it’s pot and I’m so scared that it will die! Because it’s beautiful! Ty!
Love your grow light 💕. Mind if I ask which one you have so I can buy 1 for my aloe babies? Thanks in advance sir 😊. .
Awesome video
Can you replant one leaf
Omg!!! Can I get your help. My mom was a plant lover so much. When she past my grandma, her mom past a couple yrs ago so now I have my mom's plants. I do not have a green thumb 😅. I have a huge probably with roots 3 and a half foot long a aloe plant. It's root or main steam is a ft out of soil. I'm propping it up the best way I can. Can I cut the steam or do I replant it as a whole and put the dirt right up to the leaves/stems? I do NOT want it to die. It's been threw 3 generations now and my not so green (my black thumb) thumb doesn't want to be the winner in thumb war 😅. Also I have my mom's snake plant that isn't doing so well either. Any advice, I'm on my knees. Chi miigwech!!! Ojibwe for a huge thanks 😊.
Can a aloe leaf from the supermarket be planted and survive?
My mother killed my big beautiful aloe that looked just like this one, I was heartbroken, I had it for years and she first overwatered it while I was away for a few weeks, THEN lit a candle under it and set it on fire! It was never the same again, then it just declined and died. Fortunately I had taken a few of the pups off before I left and I still have them. They’re doing well, she isn’t allowed near my plants anymore.
OH NO!!! Such a tragedy, i wish your new propagations the best of luck!
Is it okay to water after transplant? My Ma said to wait a couple weeks for them to get comfy in the new pot.
I'm forever killing aloe. I have 2 now that are pretty resilient (so far, lol). The are top heavy and need repotting, but they are so very ALIVE that I don't want to kill them.

We inherited a forty year old aloe that is MASSIVE. They won't live outside here, but it did well in the family home, with its huge sunroom. Unfortunately, we had to move and the plants have suffered greatly. Less sun exposure, accidentally over watered. The aloe looks a mess now, scrawny light green leaves at the top and the lower leaves bending and drying in the middle until they break off. I'd like to trim and repot it again (it's in a twenty-five gallon pot I think) but the spiraled root (from decades of periodic turns) is absolutely gigantic, and I'm not sure whether it is okay to trim off the lower leaves (they're about four inches wide, a foot and a half long)... Is it okay to cut it, do you think? Should I just let it be?
Would it help more if you wear a longer sleeve shirt and it was thick enough so you wouldn't get stick by the pricklies??
Yes I’m sure it would have :p
I’m curious as to how much water you gave this particular aloe vera when you repotted it? I have one that is about the same size that I want to report but I’m just not sure how much water to put into brand new soil like that.
I would give it just enough to make the soul damp then wait a while. Aloe doesn't need a whole lot of water to survive. Less is more, especially if its indoor. Sometimes I go weeks without watering mine. (Its outdoor in a 15" pot)
very good transplant ripley. keep the aloe strong and vibrant. if you have any thorns in your arms, use some duct tape to pull them out. later, cp.
Thank you for the great info. I have 20-year-old MASSIVE monster aloe. Her height is about 4.5' and width is 5'. She is in a pot 15" in height and 20" in diameter. I realized that the root system is densely packed like a concrete block. Should I repot? What is the recommended pot size? Also, we just move to a new place where there are many skylight windows and the entire place is bright. However, there is no direct sun on the aloe. Should I consider grow lamps? Again the entire space is bright just no direct sunlight hitting the monster aloe. Thank you!
That is incredible!!!! I have never seen an aloe that big before. I’d say you should probably put into a pot about 50% larger than that one and then let it grow into that space before you repot again. If it’s getting a ton of indirect light then it might be just fine. Was it in direct light before thi?
what is the top diameter of the pot?
What's the name of the plant your training to be the living wall?
This is a pothos
Meu sonho namorar e me casar com um homem que goste de plantas igual eu. Vou é muito lindo.
