Rest in Power, Terry Dobney, ArchDruid of Avebury Henge. Terry and I became friends through author Chris Stone. We had dinner together at the Red Lion, talked about Druidry, the Stones, (including the two in the Red Lion's basement), the Warband, Virginia, and many other things. I even still have his mobile number stored. He will be missed, at least in this form, as I'm sure he will always watch over Avebury. In fact, in willing to wager that from now on, during the quiet moments of a Druid ceremony in Avebury, you will hear the sound of a motorcycle.

Look! Its the old man from scene 24! I have a couple of bands started, one with music out called Ex: Parrot (from flying corcus) and one were still working on called Scene 24 for exactly this quote
I'm just not convinced. I love the idea of Druidry but we know almost nothing about them. I would be absolutely thrilled if we suddenly found something substantial about the druids but, until that happens, we're just feeling around in the dark. Aren't we?

They didn't take record. No writings of their secrets. They verbally passed on their teachings, which had to be committed to memory.
