- THE UNLIMITED SUSHI CHALLENGE, ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI. Today we have a crazy All you can eat sushi restaurant experience! This sushi buffet put out the craziest pieces of sushi including, tuna rolls, spicy salmon sushi, ALL YOU CAN EAT crab rolls, salmon sashimi and everything in between! For this buffet challenge / all you can eat challenge we are at a place called a Japanese sushi restaurant Mizu in Halifax / Dartmouth Nova Scotia. And while its not conveyer belt sushi like in Tokyo Japan, i think they do ... well tune in to see if they are fast, slow, and if this is the best sushi restaurant and best sushi ayce, or is this is the worst buffet! This previously was my favorite all you can eat sushi, but it had been a long time since i last visited.. would I still feel the same way? Is this the best sushi restaurant and the best ayce / the best buffet?

+Hella yeah beautiful..if you know what kahawai is it's beautiful as Shesimi bit of soy sauce bit of Wasabi can't beat it, in New Zealand it's a very underrated fish. Growing up we did alot of game fishing so always had Albacore, yellowfin tuna, marlin etc..😁🥳
The server was super thoughtful ! He brought 2 different temperatures of the water to assist you while eating! That’s amazing service and kindness
Joel is one of the food content creators that respects food. That's why he's so fun to watch. You can see that he enjoys the taste and not only a video that shows consuming a food.

@@andrewstewart9991 different on how you see it. My means of respect is that Joel tastes the food with 100% not only just consuming it like a pig. I know your point that having too much food is gluttony and it's a sin. But yeah that's my explanation why i said Joel respects the food.

@@jamesduignan8864 Then you're in the wrong category of youtube. Just watch ASMR if you want people to eat without talking. The talking is what makes Joel entertaining. He describes how it tastes, his experiences with the food, and always respects the staff, even if they cut him off from the AYCE (not in this vid, but a lot of vids of him being cut off from AYCE).

Next time I go to the Halifax area I am for sure hitting this place up. It looks so yummy and I've been craving sushi for so long. There's nothing near Louisdale, Cape Breton for Sushi. Awesome video Joel! Hope you enjoyed your time back in Nova Scotia when you were there! :)
It sucks because Rose Garden in Port Hawkesbury actually had some good sushi before they closed! And they also had it as part of their buffet.

Absolutely delicious, I wish we had sushi in my Village. We have Fish and chips and good ol kiwi meat pies instead.
Really good fishing at the local beaches though so guess that counts 😂.

14:24 My favorite roll, that's not an easy question. Mainly because I prefer nigiri (but I order rolls for a bit of variety). It really depends on my mood. Softshell crab rolls are good, eel and avocado also good, the simplicity and cheesyness of a philly roll is always welcome, rainbow rolls are visually good (and taste ok), and yes, a simple spicy tuna roll is rarely something unwanted.
But one thing I is, all you can eat or not, deep friend rolls are out for me.
15:55 If you don't enjoy salmon (or any uncooked fish) to be cold, let it rest for a few minutes on your table..... That's a very easy fix.

Joel, you need to check out the AYCE sushi in Halifax called Sushi Jet. There's a location on the Halifax and Dartmouth side. It's also quite good. I think it gives Jukai and Mizu a run for their money.
Joel remind me a little of actor Chris Hemsworth who enjoy eating. and awesome attitude.. so nice to watch him love his Sushis and not afraid to try othrr cuisines. He got his money worth !!!!

My favorite roll is homemade gimpab. I make a rice and veg one for me without seaweed (seaweed has been tasing very strangely, like old oil or something). I love the flavor of danmuji with carrots and cucumber. I make a sauce with onion, sesame oil, and stuff. It's so delicious.

Hey Joel hope you’re well, just wanna say please try Maggie liquid seasoning it’s sold in the uk not sure it is sold where you are but please try it on sushi it is a different kettle of fish lol 😜 PS its also good on steak too.
Eel rolls are my favorite you should give the tempura fried eel roll a chance if you haven't tried it before.

Joel I love your videos and persona. I have to ask though how you are able to eat all the sodium or mayo(lots of eggs in the mayo which increases cholesterol), oil or buttery foods etc. does the working out really help crush all the high levels of those foods? So interesting to see how someone can eat all those things in high volumes and not have serious health problems due to the regular exercise I suspect.
