Wow, I thought he was established well before 2003... he's 35 here and in a recent interview he said he was 26 when he started obviously meaning smaller gigs but did it really take him nearly a decade to get noticed for tv? He sounds so different as well lol...
@@annother3350 He didn't get his own show until 2006, with Not Going Out. Before then he was in various shows like The Sketch Show and presented the final series of They Think It's All Over in 2005.
It was genuine back then, a few of his Would I Lie to You stories involves him hiding so he didnt have to perform, and getting his best mate to go on telly with him, only they pretended they were a juggling double act, but his mate had broke his hand. That was his first ever TV appearance on Pump TV
He looks and sounds so different omg
Kezzaa Exactly. His voice has gotten higher pitched since
He's still Lee and very funny
Wow this is underrated. That was so good for such a short segment

He's so young here hahahah it's like it's not him XD
He has improved somewhat
Lee Mack's son here performed stand up earlier than his father.
Lee Mack’s eldest son wasn’t born until 2006, this show was in 2003
@@Amy-hy6zn it's a yoke mate

Strange as it may sound BUT his punchlines seem to hit home better being a bit fatter.
DIZZYGIT he used to be even skinnier than in this clip.
is being shy and awkward genuine or part of his act?

Seems very Lee Evans inspired.
They're around the same age, so I guess they had similar influences. Norman Wisdom & Michael Crawford featuring heavily I'd say.
Serpentsound No. Lee Mack is funny. Also doesn't drown in his own sweat.
It's not a bad routine but the triple axel is a maneuver performed by ice skaters, not gymnasts. Details are important.
Na they're not important though because as was the joke, nobody has a fuckin clue.
Who cares
not his best work
Imposter.
