Bean bags are-----SMART. Low center of gravity and no one will bounce out--and good back support. Love that idea guys.

Reel jedi I don't know how big your boat is. But if you have a 17 or bigger Cape Horn you can go to Venice La.! They are totally unsinkable. & Would not hesitate to take them anywhere. As long as you have the Gas Range.! only a couple of Boats I would say that about. But don't have to be Very large. Just Unsinkable & Range
I fished 45 miles out of there at the Midnight Lumps for Tuna in my 2004 21 CAPE HORN & it has a 128 gal tank! I would do same trip in the 17 Cape Horn.
      Good Fishing

      Stabicraft 2100 or 2050 or even a 1850.
Tough, rough, really unstoppable, absolutely unsinkable. They are made for the roaring 40's, nastiest waters you will ever fish.
Oh and they are made of aluminum, half the weight of a fiberglass, easily towable and will last you a life time, literally!
The stabicraft 2250 SC is an absolute offshore fishing machine. It will fish water conditions that will make most captains turn and run for the coast.
I have the 2050 and feel absolutely confident 30 to 50 miles out and don't sweat it if I get caught in the slop.
Look up the video "Stabicraft in rough water" and you will get a whole new sense of what unsinkable really is.

That lizard looks like a skink. We had Skink' growing up in TN at the creeks up the mountains.

Thanks Nicole, can you tell me if Amberjack are safe/good to eat. I know some have worms--that doesn't freak me out, high heat cooking will solve that. Just curious, thanks

Some are still ok to eat if they have worms I don’t typically eat them.

Great video. No disrespect to the captain at all. But why keep the bait basket up on the bow, when after he throws he walks to the stern, Hoist the net and walk up forward. Just for someone to carry the basket aft again. Keep the basket aft, throw the net walk back Hoist the bait and Wallah there's a basket and Live Well. Maybe it's just a northern thing but that's what we do.
