On the basis of WR in a 50 meter pool the speed for butterfly and freestyle are 2.25 m/s 2.39m/s respectively. So freestyle is 1.1 times faster. At the other extreme WR (50 m pool) for 200m Butterfly is 110 second where as for freestyle is 102 s. Again 1.1 times faster.
