The Streisand-esque belts and gentle releases, the banter with the players, it's all just perfect, Lady Gaga was such a slow burn for me; I didn't listen to any pop music when her career started, indeed would loudly tell anyone who'd listen how cool I was for not doing so. If only we could just erase our teenage selves! But I grew up, and Lady Gaga seemed to master a new genre every five years, and now, just... dang. She's produced so many of my favorite performances, by anyone. How does she fit so much talent in one body?
