It was inevitable but despite all of that I still missed the Carnegie Dimetrodon and the Carnegie Beipiaosaurus. In short the Dimetrodon is pretty good and the Beipiaosaurus is absolutely amazing. I’ll try not to beat myself up over because it was bound to happen with all the figures in this line
Also very interesting that your takes here support something I've noticed between older and younger collectors. A lot of collectors seem to prefer the modern style of color vinyl with sharply delineated paint apps and matte airbrush details. I can clearly recall when this started becoming a "thing" and being extremely turned off by it. I guess I'm old school in that I'll always vastly prefer the more blended, multiple layer paint with super glossy finish style. 🤷
Wow this is... Thorough! 😯 Came here expecting your take maybe on the main color variants, definitely did not expect a run through every production run. 😂 (Some of the ones he picked are literally just different info stamps or a change in the type of plastic with no visible difference beyond individual variation caused by the hand painting process, and sometimes even just the lighting in the photo...). But anyway... Nice work! I even agree with some of your takes, though admittedly I'm most fond of the weirdo old school ones.
Last 10 years of this line are gold, with lots of nice figures in every era. I kind of like the pre-classic early paints of the class of '88 although 1st Trike & Steg look best in their most complex color schemes. 2014 T rex is one of my favorite of the species. Penn.
Congrats on 4,000+ subs! I am not too familiar on this line of Dino toys but it was cool seeing all the variations and your opinion on em XD Your dedication to give your opinion on all of them is inspiring XD
“Boy he ugly.” “Same with this green meanie.” *gets burnt from the roasts* “Did I roast the poor guy to hard? He looks burnt now.” “Clearly not, this doesn’t look very good.” *starts decomposing from the roast* “Is my boy decomposing?” *the grease inside him becomes exposed* “Ew, the grease.”
I actually do remember having the gray and purple Carnegie Pachy a LONG time ago as a kid but unfortunately lost it,also my 4th grade Reading teacher once had the Deltadromeus and I love it but it had unfortunately no arms( mini Carnegie story ) But I'm just glad I watched this amaizng video
