I think you’re the most underrated transformer reviewer Sixo. I love the long videos . It’s chill and I can put in the background. Great camera work and backgrounds. Keep It up
The editing style feels really different with this episode, I think I like it? It's a lot more punchy, as opposed to the super relaxed vibe you've been going for up to this point. Love the new transformation music though!
Did you know that: There’s a thing for fixing the droopy leg sliders during transformation. Basically it’s some sort of better springs and their accompanying ring things to replace the ones on this toy.
Robot mode looks very cool and reminiscent of the japanese art from that era (which I love!). Vehicle mode, on the other hand, is quite an eyesore and the fact that it lacks the insanely cool gimmicks of the vintage toy makes it even worse. Overall it's a cool Star Convoy at a reasonable price when compared to MPs of its size.
I adore your comparisons to the original toy in your reviews. I absolutely love mine and best figure made to pair with my absolute favorite official tf modern release: Mp Star Saber. I wish MMC would've used better quality materials like die cast or something . Otherwise I love mine
My take-home from this video is that the original Star Convoy toy was amazingly fun in a way that compared to my favourite childhood Transformer (Armada Optimus Prime)
One of my biggest criticisms of modern Generations and Masterpiece style Transformers (be they Hasbro/Takara or third party) is that they often sacrifice some of the most enjoyable gimmicks of their original toys in favor of poseability and fiction-accuracy.
That's what instantly came to mind when I watching this too, Optimus' trailer being a base for the mini-cons and motorized lower legs for his super mode.
Whilst listening to Sixo describe an unboxing in a romanticized sexual fashion and upon hearing the words "Flaps" & "Clamshell" hiss and leap from his lips, it hit me that this man should be doing "ASMR Transformers Reviews." That voice, all the ratchety, clickety-clackety goodness and thick tabs snapping perfectly into place... There's something to capitalize on here... Just saying man... It's a thought 🥳🤣🥴
I really dont care for his truck mode. Some of it I'll admit is just from star convoy's space truck mode being kinda dumb (like how he doesn't even try to hide his legs). But even in the execution, I find some parts lacking. I don't like the way his middle wheels look. Like, they don't feel like they blend or fit in with the truck mode... They look like someone just slapped them there. It looks worse than the original toy, or the Battlestars version.

Yes, bit of a different style with this one for sure (and the next…). Hope you like it!
After the extreme labor that was changing the locking tabs in the legs, he’s not a bad figure. Very lacking in gimmicks but he does look really good.
The knees are double jointed. They bend well past 90 degrees. Good review as always :)
Love that new Piano track you used for the transformation sequence in this one.
My goodness, the original toy is simply gorgeous! Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Pleasure!
Just got mine and it came with the leg fix kit in the box, so props to that 👍🏼

I hope that fans hobby will release a version with all the gimmicks
New transformation music! Also, this figure looks amazing in robot mode. Almost feel like this would have been better as a non-transforming toy.
You noticed! 😍
@@SixoTF I was gearing up to hum along and got a surprise. It sounds pretty dang good. Different but the same feel.
@@MellowGaming glad you enjoyed it!
I've been really looking forward to your videos as for late 😊
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying them.
Wow, the original Star Convoy did waaaay more than I thought it did!

Yeah, that’s very fair! I only really scratched the surface of the original’s play value too, in many ways.

🤣
Something to consider hahaha
Turning Galvatron back into Megatron (super or otherwise) feels like such a downgrade.
You can bend his knees further, it’s a bit of a hassle but just keep bending, I promise the knees can go past 90 degrees

His hips really should be silver or white. Odd choice here
Optimus who?
Some guy.
