    Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Size:
    30" x 20" x 25" (about the size of a dishwasher)
    Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Weight:
    Just over 100 pounds
    Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Warranty:
    1 Year Limited Warranty
    Power:
    Standard 110 Volt outlet
The freeze dryer is designed to be energy-efficient and only draws an average of 11 amps of power per hour.
    Refrigeration:
The Harvest Right freeze dryer uses a refrigerator condenser like what is used in home refrigerators. These condenser work by filling copper coils with a coolant. It is efficient enough to bring food to -45 degrees Fahrenheit or colder. The system is closed, meaning that the coolant only needs replacing in rare cases of damage.
Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Vacuum Pump:
The freeze dryer also uses a vacuum pump to decrease the pressure in its chamber to freeze dry food. This vacuum pump meets refrigeration industry standards and is a proven design that provides years and years of reliable service.
    Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Maintenance:
The freeze dryer requires only one item of regular maintenance, in the vacuum pump. The pump uses mineral oil, and the oil must be changed about every 10 cycles (uses). Changing the oil is extremely easy to do and can be accomplished in just minutes.
    Capacity:
Freeze drying produces approximately 2 gallons of food per batch, equivalent to two #10 cans or about 6-10 pounds (before drying). It can easily dry 300 to 400 gallons of food in a year.
Harvest Right Freeze Dry Cycle Time:
One freeze drying cycle last 24 hours. The freeze drying process is completely automatic and only requires the push of one button.

This seems like it's a really great product! If I could afford to purchase one of them, I'd do it in a heartbeat. That's even though I don't think Believers will be here for too much longer... Shalom

So what do you do with the freeze dried meals? Like do you reconstitute the lasagna or just eat it crunchy?

Where are all the good comments on this unit ? 🤷‍♀️I was hoping to read some great testimony before purchasing. Good thing I read the comments first . Maybe you should give home 🏡 demonstrations like Tupperware with there parties eh? I was hoping for a better and faster way to prepare and keep foods with all the natural disasters happening right now this would have been a GOD SEND -what happened ? 9-7-17

I don't know if you ever got an answer to your questions from Harvest Right or not. I can only tell you what I have experienced with mine. I love it!! I received mine in December of 18 and it's been running batch after batch since I got it - up to #22 now (2-12-19). I have the large unit with 5 trays and the oil less pump. The oil less pump I feel is the way to go - I hated changing and filtering the oil after each batch. Mine was back ordered so I had to contend with the regular pump for a month. But all the foods I've put up have turned out great. Still experimenting with some fruits. If you can afford one I highly recommend it for long term food storage. Well worth the money.

Harvest Right is NOT a good investment. Their return policy is a complete scam. Now, their warranty is only "30 DAYS!" lol. even if you can return a dysfunctional unit within that timeframe, they charge you shipping and a15%! restocking fee! if you are outside their scam 30-day warrantee you are stuck with a $3700 paperweight! DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM PRODUCT FOLKS. All their customer service is outsourced overseas and they are an unorganized uncoordinated mess. Moreover, Harvestright has a huge positive social media campaign coordination team that patrols every conceivable corner of social media to make sure they only have glowing reviews. STAY AWAY from this company and the shoddy product they are foisting on the public!

I bought a refurbished (scratch n dent) one with warranty still on it.
Let it sit for a few (3.5) months bcuz I just couldn’t get to it yet w/extenuating circumstances of my husband being out of state for work, unit heavy, had to wait for a missing part.
First batch, error message: not freezing.
      Troubleshot etc. with tech dept.
I did my darndest to get them to replace it but ***I missed the 30-day return/replace window*** that I wasn’t aware of.
Now am returning for repair. Hopefully going forward the experience will be better.
