Pro-Palestine protest at South Africa’s parliament

Cape Town, South Africa - 25 February 2024: Pro-Palestine supporters held a mass protest outside South Africa’s parliament. The protesters called for further action against and condemnation of Israel’s military action in Gaza. Further down the road pro-Israel supporters gathered and a few tried to infiltrate and disrupt the pro-Palestine protest. Police also had their hands full trying to hold back pro-Palestine supporters who tried to march on the Holocaust Centre, a few hundred metres from parliament.
