I remember his original Mine Kafon wind powered tumble weed and its so amazing to see that he has done this, just amazing!

as I understand it, the problem mines are in dense forested areas, not in the open, majority are plastic with very few metal parts(couple springs) if you do manage to detect and place a charge on top while squeezing through shrubs, trees, vines... the explosion will result in that little bit of metal being scattered all over the place, leading to an exponential growth in false detections

what with plastic mines? I know that new terahertz spectroscope detectors could detect explosive material using terahertz waves

Please dont just patent it and charge anyone for the concept. Is it feasible to get these out to war torn countries?

Another way is use remote control heavy equipment with extending steel arm sweeping mine

Drive that up a mountain or hilly terrain, or a forest.

Why isn't this technology being used in Ukraine. This is exactly what thw need to clear mine fields

So... Like 20min of operational time between with like 4h+ preparation time with the requirement of an operator babysitting the drone bat all times? Talk about one heck of an inefficient way of finding mines...
Why not just build a lightweight "toy" rover out of mostly plastic to avoid magnetic mines with a built in mine detector and something like an ArduPilot System hooked to both a GPS and maybe some rudimentary vision system to avoid obvious obstacles... Could probably run for hours if not days when equipped with Solar Panels like this DIY solution someone built: ruclips.net/video/QVep9iSXVeo/видео.html
Not sure how accurate mine detectors are but maybe pair it with the ability to place a "Target" sign directly on top of the mine that can then be used as a marker to either drop a heavy dart onto using a flying drone to trigger the mine or maybe arm a flying drone with a gimballed rifle barrel pointing straight down and shooting that target automatically. The Rover can work for days alone marking all the spots and when it comes to dismantling the mines the ppl with the flying drone arrive to shoot the crap out of the ground with it.
Could probably also forgo the flying shooting drone and just drop a DIYed thermite charge onto the mine using the same rover and set it off from afar... IDK... Still better what I just saw.

Unfeasible. There r many mettalic but non explosive pieces on the SOIL
