Some of the clips look so uncrowded. The story in the news yesterday said that the crowds have doubled on the point breaks on the Goldie in the last few years. I guess videos like this have helped push the numbers up. 7 years ago doesn't seem that long ago but COVID has changed surfing and maybe not for the better. Seems like it's crowded everywhere these days and with surfers who aren't very good. It's sort of destroyed the buzz of it all dealing with so many people in the lineup.
