You're amazing! This brings hope to the disabled community. I'm a disabled gamer that currently play AAA games hands free with eye tracking.Even being able to press one key with my mind would be a great addition, improvement.

I'm not sure people will appreciate the level of intense focus tying your movement to your head tracking requires. Even playing Truck Simulator where the worst that happens if I glance away is the camera goes crazy is extremely fatiguing. This is honestly super inspiring

Nah this technology is absolutely ancient and not commonly used cause it's never been easier than just picking up a controller. If it were more sophisticated maybe, but as it stands people need training just to rotate objects with this.

I don't know if it'd actually help, but what if instead of thinking of pushing a boulder, you instead think of a tone? Like a sound frequency, like a hum? It would be something that didnt have to be visual, so might be easier to maintain control?
OR, maybe visualize static? Like soft static? Because its just one thing, filling the entire minds eye, and so you can like see through it, and thus focus on the game, WHILE maintaining the picture?

Oh my G this is so incredible! I'm not lying, but the ability to play games (computer games) with mind control emerged into my mind back in 1999 when I was just 13 years old and had just started playing Computer games. There was this 1v1 fighting game (duel) where after a certain level, maybe after defeating 3 or 4 CPU players, the opponent became so skilled/tough that no matter how fast I pressed the buttons on a keyboard, I couldn't beat them. I did beat them eventually after playing for hours and days, but it was incredibly difficult. So it got me thinking, how and why was the Computer player so fast? I heard from elders and others that Computers could think much faster than humans, and could execute a task much faster as well. Hence, it occurred to me that, if I could somehow connect my brain to a computer then I could theoretically play a game at the speed of the Computer. Because then I would not think of a move with my brain and then execute it with a keyboard by my hand, I would be thinking and then directly executing a command, bypassing the keyboard, thus reducing the time required for such things. I even looked for and asked people if such a thing existed, but at that time, it didn't. What strike me the most is that most people didn't even understand what I was talking about, only very few did. I actually thought about inventing and developing such a thing once I grow up.
It's 2024 now and 25 years have passed. I am now 37. I don't remember when I forgot about that idea, maybe a few years after 1999, because I got busy with other things in life such as education etc. It did cross my mind a few years later, during the late 2000s but by then my life had changed so much that I couldn't invent or develop it even if I wanted to. I had to study Computer Science or something like that to acquire the knowledge or skills perhaps, but I was kind of forced to study Business.
Nonetheless, I am very glad to see that someone has done it. OR at least, it's a collaboration of a lot of people, whether they are connected directly or indirectly.
Congrats to the girl who did it, you can't imagine how proud I am right now of the Human species.
    💯👍
