Update from an owner's perspective - had it for about a month. It definitely picks up small objects and has a fairly accurate vdi? (The target numbers) It looks complicated but it's underrated on how easy it is to use and to get used to it. Tested it on plowed, grass and wet mud and works fine throughout. I love it :) Almost as much as I love your videos :)

Yes on the Question about the Aluminum Metal Targets and the jumpy VDI and I have noticed that he was using the Full Sensitivity and that's part of the problem with the X-Terra Pro and it's not necessary to be at Full Sensitivity without any kind of ground Feedback and I have mine set at 12 Sensitivity and the coin's are loud and proud and then the junkyard of target's are the Jumpy VDI and also practice with the coin's first To get the X-Terra Pro numbers and the Tone's and I Use the All Tone's And I also have the All Metal Mode On and it's not like the Simplex + is and the Simplex it is a Single Tone on the All Metal Mode and you will have to dig it up just to find out that it's a JUNK Target but with the X-Terra Pro it's a Great Detector and also not a Single Frequencies of 12 MHz of the Simplex + and Now the Simplex Ultra is 15 MHz and the X-Terra Pro is multiple single frequencies of 5-8-10-15 and it's a more versatile detector than the Competition 😮...❤.....
Change the settings for the Sensitvity and lower it to about 18-20 and and the jumpy VDI/ TDI should stop, cause the X-Terra Pro processor is putting out more power and can't process All the info that it's received and it gives you the jumpy VDI but If you would lower the sensitivity down it will still work out great and I have the Simplex + and I have to be at 3 bars and I can't use it for anything higher than that cause if I have it any higher than that it's just like the X-Terra Pro and the jumpy VDI and unusable but I'm still digging up target's that are at 6"-8" and I think At 3 bars is 15 on the Simplex but just lower the sensitivity and give the X-Terra Pro a chance to process the information that it's received and Seriously you will not miss anything but you do have to Walk over it first ......
EDIT and now that I have it in my Hands The X-Terra Pro and I have mine set at 12 Sensitivity and the targets are still able to get me to dig 6+ inches deep with the 12 Sensitivity and it's a Very Powerful Detector for The low price.....
@@miragexl007 Very Glad to help and When I was making the very first Comments on the X-Terra Pro, I never had the X-Terra Pro in my own hands and I was just watching it and alot of people were struggling with it and being on the Fullest Sensitivity and Getting the Ground Feedback and that's not good for the X-Terra Pro and the people that are trying to understand what it's trying to say and I could see that it's a Very VERY Powerful Detector and that's why it's Jumpy VDI is happening and if you have the X-Terra Pro there's more hidden features that you can also change it up Even More and you can't hurt it and it's not like the Older Detector's that was Dialed in and No Screen and the X-Terra Pro is Way Above that and the Tone's are better than anything else that I have ever owned and the Hidden Features Tone Break and Iron Volume Setting And I have watched ALOT of other Expert people that are not even doing anything with the Hidden Settings and the X-Terra Pro is MORE POWERFUL THAN WHAT THEY ARE USING NOW Notka Lineups and the Many Updates and the X-Terra Pro Doesn't Even needs an update for it to get the targets and I have started with 12 Sensitivity and I'm working on my way back up now that I know what it's trying to tell me what the target is and I have watched a few of people videos that are in the 10 Sensitivity range and it's still getting Targets and I'm still amazed about the X-Terra Pro and it's Abilities to tell me what the target is and I'm not Still Having to Dig up alot of junk Targets like that I was doing with the Simple Detector's and I'm not A Relics Hunter with the X-Terra Pro and the Coin Shooters Dream Detector and it's going great 😃👍❤️..... and very nice to hear and help with the X-Terra Pro and just lower the Sensitivity down and let it tell you about what the target is and it will.... ❤️....
That was interesting Kris, How would it go using a bigger equinox coil ,say the 11inch or the 15inch ? It would be interesting to see if that might sort out the VDI issue. Hmmm the X-TERRA PRO has some good points and there is some things that may need sorting ,but a great little machine(?) device none the less. You might be better off getting the Equinox 900 and the Equinox can go deeper than the 800 and the X-Terra Pro can also go as deep as the 900 but the X-Terra Pro is cheaper than the 900 but almost the same program but it's not a Multi Frequency but it's a Multiple Choice of Frequencies and I have the Equinox 600 and so far I just love the X-Terra Pro and it's knowledge of what's in the ground.....
Excellent finds. Excellent all round i just got my xterra here in the US. Been a bit scarce and hard to find. Sold my q30+ to biy the xterra pro so i cant compare but i believe the tones are nicer on the xterra preformance i believe close but cant do a side by side. Be well stay safe G
I find it harder to make videos these days. my permissions have been done to death over the years, and I may pick up the little bits others have missed. to review a machine you do have to walk over. Good video Kris 👍

Do coins tend to have a solid repeatable vdi number then and aluminium jumps around a lot?
