this poem made me cry it is so true i wish that one day everyone here in Hawaii will be speaking Hawaiian not English and i hope that our nation will be restored and we will again be the strong people that we once were. i know that this will happen even if it takes years i will be fighting for it and i will never stop

Jamaica Osorio speaks on behalf of every ethnicity that have been ethnic cleansed, every nation that has lost their Kingdom, their language, spiritual learning, sustainability values with the land, freedom to make diplomatic relationships, to teach our children who we are and how to love each other. I'd like to see more of Jamaica Osorio like minded Hawaiian learn to build their massive platform for their place of voicing. I am an Ainu. Jamaica Osorio speaks my heart too.
@richardthewriter I saw an edited version of one on the HBO series 'Russell Simmons Presents Brave New Voice. It dealt with issues of suicide and friendship. Every piece I've seen from the Hawai'i team has been on point.
