Yeah I have bought Sees for years with no problems but like people have mentioned their candy is fresh no preservatives and will not last months. That’s why you don’t see them in super markets.
For xmas? you posted this in October. The candy only lasts 1 to 2 months because they don't have any artificial ingredients. That looks like you had it for a whole year.
Just because the video was posted in October, doesn't mean that is was filmed in October. I wasn't sure if I wanted to make this public. It took me awhile to decide to go ahead and post it.
@@openlens3990 you are a liar. I'll tell you this much, you had to have bought that on Amazon. That is a box that has to be at least 2 years old. Give me a break
I worked for See's Candies for 8 yrs. I have seen it all! Customers have brought in boxes with bugs in it, spider webs, a broken tooth - all looking for a replacement box. They didn't have to go to the trouble; See's always puts their customers 1st -even when they did things like this on PURPOSE! See's Motto: Smiles, Samples, and Service! Not only are those boxes Old candy but the chocolate boxes have been left in the heat/Sun and then refrigerated. SHAME on this woman!
See's says it lasts 6-8 weeks...who holds their candy that long? lol I eat a pound with in a few days so I have to freeze my boxes so I can slow down. I just ordered 3 pounds and will keep them in the freezer until Lent is over, then make these last until cooler weather hits and I can order more again. I live in a hot area.
In other words, they aren’t full of chemical preservatives. I visited a mill in Canada. It was real old, but was still functional. I bought a small bag of flour and didn’t use it right away. It got bugs.
Omfg Lmaooo lol 😂 Im sorry hunny but there is no way if you’re placing your candies (in a safe and clean spot in your kitchen) and then relocating them to the refrigerator to save them for awhile Like any smart person would do , there is no reason in hell they should look like this!! Cobwebs and feces are kidding me I’m sorry granny but you sent that package way too damn late and that’s your fault Not Sees Candies lol u know u kept those for longer than you should have. Girl bye!
I have purchased See's for 50 years and even sold it for a few years and I have never seen anything like this. I do store mine in the refrigerator which may be a better idea and I only buy from the factory on the pre-packed boxes because I don't know how long they have been in the stores, though I never had a single issue with any See's Candy I purchased while I lived in California. I will buy the loose chocolates in my local store, lolipops, hard candies and wrapped bars but not the boxed items. I did buy boxes in another store in the Midwest and the candy was stale and the nuts were definitely not fresh.
I have never had See’s candies & Im glad. When I moved here, people would tell how awesome they are and I should try some. So glad I didn’t, absolutely horrible.🤢
You did nothing but make yourself look bad, I'll thank you to never buy Sees candy again, Terry and Candy See, USA. Thank you, everyone else for the great reviews.
What bullshit , she lacks common sense . She is gross 🤮. When she buys broccoli it doesn’t have a printed expire date , Use common. Spence you crazy bat !
Two questions: @00.35 Did you bjy this directly from See's or an outlet like Amazon? Ive purchased candy both ways and ill tell you right now DONT buy fresh ANYTHING from amazon. The candy box you opened is so far beyond insect activity that there is no way that this came directly from Sees. Just no way
Hello Ma’am! I am so sorry this happened to you! I work at see’s candies and this is completely unacceptable. I can assure you that this mistake that was made is not the normal. This has never ever happened at our store before. I promise you that this is a one time only mistake. Our candy lasts 6-8 weeks. I can personally attest to that as I wanted to check out that claim myself. This was obviously a mistake and I am so sorry you had to go through this
Katie, do you really think that, with the strict guidelines that your company follows, would sell a box of xandy in that shape ? I understand the concept of "customer is always right" but dont apologize for something that you know is impossible to have occurred within the timeframe. The bug activity is far too extensive to simply be an old box of candy.
Im with @@yvie914 on this one. I work at a sees as well and I will not hear the last of it if I drop one on the counter. This lady waiting way too long. The customer may be "right" in the store but thats as far as I can go.

Actually, this made me want to buy Sees Chocolates now! Less preservatives the better!

I love how you stuck up for the company 😊
Don’t they need a ‘ best before date’ on any food boxes?

Actually.... MOST chocolatiers frighten me...
I hold out for Lindt (Germany still enforces laws about quality chocolate production & sales).

You goofed there
and its not bad within two weeks to a month, its actually bad 59 days after opening the box. and if the candy has nuts in it, it lasts even longer.
Well that was very weird

this is nonsense ...
Sees is excellent 💐
Costco Gift Cards are best if stores are accessible. Hot summers don't ship out candies...
You bought really old candy .

I worked for See's for 8 yrs. Katie Gilson You know when customers have tampered with candy and Sees always issues a new box or money back.
What is that?
