See's Candies aren't made with preservatives. There are some pieces that have a shelf life of maybe a week while others have a longer shelf life of 3 weeks. To appreciate the fully fresh taste of See's Candy, I wouldn't wait too long to enjoy the pieces.
[See link at end]... As a Californian, I never realized that See's is not a countrywide franchise. I don't often eat candy but , when I do, it's my birthday or a holiday and usually it's Sees. My favorite is the Nuts & Chews selection. Many years ago, See's was only about $8.50/lb. Now, it's about $20/lb. BUT, they have never sacrificed quality. These are wonderful gift worthy chocolates and there is a huge variety to choose from. I can't understand why a map of the contents is no longer included in the box.. But, here's a link to Sees online where you can see the image ID of SOME of the chocolates and put in an order as well. www.sees.com/build-a-box
