Thank you for this video, a lovely departure from your usual. I do think our homes reflect the way we like to live plus our fashion/style sensibilities. I live in the prairies of western Canada, this aesthetic has always spoken to me, cozy is essential 🤣 I was born in the 60’s and have always loved 60’s and 70’s decor though they are fairly different. Perhaps it’s my Norwegian roots that make it seem comfortable and familiar to me. The clean simple lines of the 60’s really marries well with hygge as does the earth tones and textures of the 70’s.
I have that book😊! I saw it in a local tea shoppe here where I live. I ordered it in January and have been reading it slowly, halfway through it. I love adding little elements from the book in my life😊
This is a video I didn't know I needed! I have a toddler and a baby and our house feels like a mess. Oh and I agree with decorating with memories! One of my favorite detail in our house is birth posters of our children with similar desing. Greetings from Finland!
I loved this video! I absolutely love the dark warm brown on the living room wall. Wow! You’ve really made your home a beautiful place to dwell and enjoy family life- it’s Hygge with a capital H!👏👏💜🩷❤️
I really liked this kind of video ❤ very interesting to see that usually style is getting into every sphere of people’s life. Beautiful home you have 😍 and I particularly like Scandinavian style in interiors, thank you for inspiring us ❤
I read the Little Book of Hygge and Lykke years ago. ❤ I have wooden floors in one room. You have to be very careful not to scratch them. I would prefer tile.
I live now in Canada but I am originally from France and each time I visit I am always surprised that a lot of homes have tiled floors. I can understand in the south of france which is much warmer but otherwise when I visit in fall or winter I find it not "hygge" at all...
It is a bit of an unusual choice yes, it was rather new when we moved in though so we didn’t want to change it just for the sake of 😊 rather work around it and now we’re actually quite pleased with it and we’ve grown to like it 👌🏻
I was living in Denmark 8 years and I learned a lot about scandi hygge home which i practice now in my home in Poland❤
That’s so nice! ❤️🙏🏻

You two have made a beautiful home! I have enjoyed seeing the progress and renovations over time. Thank you for sharing it.😊
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️
Your wedding photo is so cute! I’m assuming you didn’t have a big, expensive wedding? Have you thought about doing a minimalist wedding video?
Really liked this video. Great tips and suggestions!
Thank you Signe! Great ideas! Love your home. I love the Scandi style.
I love your channel, and I'm so happy I was recommended to you by another RUclipsr! I love the sweater you are wearing, where is it from? ❤ From 🇨🇦

I really liked this video 🙂 Have you found that tiktok that you mentioned about 'the right light'?
I love natural wood. Almost all of my furniture is dark, so I plan to change that little by little.
Loved this video! Will try to incorporate some of these at home ❤
Really enjoyed this video! I’ll definitely try some of these ideas. Thanks 💕
