Hey Ed, It’s not the easiest thing in the world, but for perspective, I’ve had several people join my program who have felt that hiring is fairly straightforward and getting clients was their biggest hurdle. People definitely want to work jobs like this, the key is speaking directly to them.
I agree with the fire quick part of your statement. The first half however is the main reason some many people struggle with hiring. Because they’re hiring too quick. I say hire SLOW, and fire quick. My people stick around, because the interview process is rigorous. So I weed out a lot of weak candidates.
I’ve decided I’m going to be doing interviews 365 days a year. Never stop. When I find a great hire, find a way to get him on the team. Even if it means going negative for a few months because I can’t afford it…. This way I’m not constantly worried about having employees, but rather enough work for employees. It’s a problem as well, but much easier to tackle!
Thanks for the great content, I gotta tell you that you have helped me so much so far, I watch your videos almost every day! Just a quick question: I want to order the book, in fact I started and stopped at the point where it says domestic shipping ( US only) so im not sure what does that mean? Im in Europe. Will i receive the book or its only for the USA?
That's awesome! Glad to hear that you're enjoying the content. At the moment, my publishing company only ships within the US but you can still grab a copy on Amazon. Here's the link: www.amazon.com/Pick-Cash-Not-Trash-Automated/dp/B09W4F3GKK
I agree with one of these. Having tried almost all of these before myself, here are my thoughts. Door hangers don’t work in commercial. $5 fb ads haven’t worked since 2014. Truck wraps for commercial is a waste. Weekly social media posts to who? Unless your ideal clients are on your friends list, that is pointless. Yard signs are very effective for other services like landscaping, roofing, and maybe house cleaning, etc, but have never seen it work for commercial. Agree: Asking for referrals/reviews is never a bad idea. 👍
@@MikeMak I do exterior cleaning 90% residential. Fb ads don’t give me a ridiculous ROI on fb, but by marketing to everyone on Facebook daily it gives you an ‘omnipresence’. I add a large percentage of homeowners who we do business with on my Facebook and also have a lot of them following my business page.
I hope you got massive value from this vid!

@@MikeMak If I was doing strictly commercial, I’d probably have an email list and then a designated day to go business to business marketing.
