Colette Ford absolutely not he was cute AF especially when he started rubbing his little face and lickin up the peanut butter scraps. That shits the best. That’s why I can’t stand traditional mouse traps. Those little guys are so adorable, I’d feel notable hurting them in any way.

I had a pet BABY mouse for a while (my mom found him by himself, but he didn't seem like he had any issues to us so we figured why not) but my jackass brother decided to FEED HIM TO MY CAT while I was out trying to get him food for the first time. I was so sad, the poor thing didn't have a chance and was only like a week old😭😭😭

Chris thank you for creating these humane mouse traps. I'm going to share this with my 2nd graders. We recently had a mouse in our closet and the kids scared it out of the room! Some of the children were worried when one of the boys talked about killing it. I assured the class we would not be killing the mouse and would let it go. I am sure there are more because it looked like a baby. As a science project, we will make humane traps:-)

I used sunflower seeds and chocolate cookie as bait . The little guy got caught today ! Just 4
days after I made the trap. Also glad that it was caught in the live trap instead of the glue. It will be free soon!

I like the bucket trap best. I had several mice get into my home through the carelessness of workers who drilled a hole in my basement wall for a sump pump hose, and didn't bother to seal around the pipe. The bottle traps could in theory catch more than one mouse assuming those already caught were at the bottom of the bottle when a new visitor tried getting in the trap.

These balance traps remind me of my life. Just when I think I’m about to get out of a tough situation things go slightly off-balance and I’m stuck in a trap.

Nice one. I got a job in a flour making company., we have malt, wheat, corn.. all sorts of grain in general. Needles to say there is bunch of mice in our warehouse, and I just cant stand nor tolerate glue catchers... They are just the worst of the worst... I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about them. Hopefully this bottle catcher, or bucket catcher will do the trick. I really really really hope it does.. Finding the bait is going to be tricky since they have everything they ever wanted all around them in bags, so it has to be something that will stand out next to malt and chick peas etc... Any suggestion for a bait?

Peanut butter I find is best. It has a strong aroma and last for days . Good luck.

This was a fantastic thing to come across since acquiring a new house guest. Needed a trap idea that would also not harm my beagle that let's face it when food around so is she.

Actually ever shot is a different mouse. First I make the trap. Then I prove the concept and capture at least 3 wild mice outdoors to prove they can be captured and not chew their way out of it. The last mouse I catch, I then use it in the "theatre" to shoot the video and to show how it works. It's always dicey because they are always trying to escape.

I didn't mean to imply it was the same mouse, just the point that because they're not harmed it's not not a bad gig for them to assist you...Peace

I do not think I understand. What is the attraction of these mousetraps to the mice. What will make them deviate from their usual tracks to enter your traps ?

I have pet mice, and just recently a "visitor" appeared in the house, a beautiful brown mouse, I gonna try one of your traps to capture it and release it somewhere safe or maybe try and see if he can adapt to the "pet lifestyle "

A mple modification to the bottle traps is lots of air holes for ventilation.

Is it safe to release them from your house into the cold of winter with lows in the 20's F? I'm feeding one until it warms up but would rather release it.
