I still have this on an ancient VHS tape my dad made throughout a few years in early 90s of performances like this on late shows or snl.. was just thinking, my dad was my age now (40) then.
This is the soundtrack of my `93-94, perfectly capturing the mood of my adolescence at that point (15-16). I didn't know it at the time, but this song and the whole album really would make me eventually be receptive to American southern rock, country, and folk music. I owe much to this song and the musicians behind it.
it is REALLY so fucking weird how this performance was played on the day Kurt Cobain was found dead and how it fits so well and all of its reflection with Shannon's improvisation in honor.... seems like the perfect lyrics on right time.... this is a legendary performance on music history!
@@PresidiarioComWifi Ok, i didn't remember this detail, and that surely gives a different meaning to this performance. Thank you very much for writing. Muchas gracias presidiario.
He was so traumatised by Kurt cobains death it probably lead to his very own. He performed this song with the question mark on his head which was a message to his own mental health clearly the very day we heard that Kurt was no more. Damn sad
Thank you so much for uploading this! My favorite performance of this song.

The question mark was asking if he was next, and sadly, I guess he was
