The game was shite. The first 10 minutes both teams could not keep possession for 3-5 passes. That again happened around the 30th minute and the 2nd half was just watching Chelsea being the dull attacking team they are for like 14 out of the 18 months Tuchel is there.

Tuchel fought so hard to keep Azpilicueta. Managers of the past would’ve died to have the keys Tuchel has been given by Boehly. The fact that he hasn’t targeted one other midfielder aside from FDJ when that is our biggest weakpoint right now says it all. I love the man but he makes it so hard for me to back him sometimes. Havertz and Mount have to get dropped it’s a non negotiable

Two things can be correct at the same time Martinez is a good defender on the ground, but he is too short. He will surely struggle in the air every now and then. Best you Man U fans can hope is that those occasions will be few and far between and that overall his solid defending and excellent passing range will contribute far more than the inevitable chances he will afford your opponents. And please don't give me that crap of Cannavaro was also 5'9. Martinez is not Cannavaro and even Cannavaro would have struggled against teams that cross the ball alot.

Everyone's going on about him being short.
