Honestly have you looked at the cast? They almost all look exactly like the character they protray in game. Just keep the cast the same and film a live action version. It wouldn't hit right without the voices we've heard for hundreds of hours.

Bradley Cooper would not be able to play Arthur well at all despite him being a good actor, Charlize Theron pretty much fucks up any character she is these days by making them be something they're not, Gerard Butler doesn't even look close to Dutch in anyway, and Bill Barnes playing John Marston ain't gonna happen since he plays charismatic characters 90% of the time and not super calm and collected serious characters like John. Plus Americans would be needed in order to do the characters voices since Europeans suck at doing southern or cowboy voices.

The actors in Red Dead 2 did mocap AND the acting, and they often look like their characters, so they already have everything they need to be their characters in a movie. They already have the looks, voices, and mannerisms like walking style, bc they did all that
