Yeah, there were only a few lines in the game where it reminded me that Arthur really isn’t supposed to be a good guy at least until chapter 6. I prefer the voice we have now by a mile though.
if you really think that utilising the term of 'Good guy' especially for Arthur in chapter 6 is a very well-written piece of what Humans are in actuality then you're solely mistaken (don't worry you're not the only one who believes this)...
They should've made this a part of the honor system so that when you're at low honor you get this version of Arthur. It would've added alot more depth to the honor system imo
Jesus christ Imagine we got this Arthur but with low honour, suppose we could get a darker ruthless Arthur in his younger years in rdr3. Or play as the Callander boys
I wish they could have used the Honor for this. if you had bad honor arthur will slowly turn into this savage from the beta thus completely changing the landscape of the game and maybe making him win the fight against Micha but this will also remove many dialogue like „you’re a good man Arthur Morgan“ and some side quests like him having a talk with the nun ect
The idea that arthur had a baby that froze to death and he blamed himself and became cold and mean towards everyone honestly would have made the smaller moments like taking jack fishing mean a lot more. And the ending where he sacrifices himself to save John way more impactful tbh. The moment with the nun where he talks about how he's afraid. The entire game could have been way sadder and more emotional if they kept that
I like the idea of playing a borderline psychopath, traumatized and losing his sanity from his kid’s death. It’s a bit different than what we usually get as a protagonist. Even the chuckle at the end was proper madman.
I’m glad they changed it, so they could show Arthur really started looking for redemption. tho, it would be really good to hear something like this when fighting Micah.
The stuff about the baby is interesting and does make me wonder, but the Arthur Morgan we got ended you being one of the greatest video game characters of all time. So I wouldn't change anything.
I wish we got this Arthur. This eoukd make his story much more impactful even when he gets TB. And his deatg would hurt even more since he could die hopelessly like his child did and he would die knowing he never got to see his child grow up. I wish he was like this, and I wish he looked the way he does in the art shown in the video. It's so sad we couldn't play this version of Arthur. 😭
They made it so he lost a son years before. While he was away the girl and his son were killed by bandits. It's part of his dialogue during one of the missions with eagle flies I think.
Honestly would’ve been way better and adds a lot more context as to why he would care about John, Jack and Abigail getting tf out of the gang. The tuberculosis making Arthur care because he’s about to die makes sense, but his child freezing to death because of the gang AND tuberculosis would’ve made a lot more sense. In the base game it’s kind of random that he cares about them so much, it makes complete sense but is also still pretty random.
John is the OG member along with him, basically his little bro, Abigail is sweet and nice, jack is basically his nephew (also prob reminds him of his dead son)

His redemption and road to honor would've been even better so yeah
That laugh low-key gave me chills
Reminds me of Judge Holden
I think that was Dutch laughing not Arthur
@@Itsyaboygert It was.
Bro Arthur sounded like ray from call of Juarez
That bit of acting might’ve been Clark’s best as Arthur. Would have really made his “redemption” better, he never really comes off as evil unless you purposely make him so. The appearance would fit the harsh life more too
Micah would be absolutely destroyed by this version of Arthur
Yeah, there were only a few lines in the game where it reminded me that Arthur really isn’t supposed to be a good guy at least until chapter 6. I prefer the voice we have now by a mile though.
I prefer the beta voice L opinion u clown 🤡
I like the beta voice more L opinion u clown 🤡
if you really think that utilising the term of 'Good guy' especially for Arthur in chapter 6 is a very well-written piece of what Humans are in actuality then you're solely mistaken (don't worry you're not the only one who believes this)...
The Arthur we got was perfect
He sounds like Arthur trying to do an impression of Micah lol
I wish they could have used the Honor for this. if you had bad honor arthur will slowly turn into this savage from the beta thus completely changing the landscape of the game and maybe making him win the fight against Micha but this will also remove many dialogue like „you’re a good man Arthur Morgan“ and some side quests like him having a talk with the nun ect
Arthur is perfect the way he is...
If Arthur was colder then he would have more wrongs to make and fix that made his Redemption alot harder
This Arthur could be interesting to see
I’m glad they changed it, so they could show Arthur really started looking for redemption.
tho, it would be really good to hear something like this when fighting Micah.
Arthur Escuella in the intro
The stuff about the baby is interesting and does make me wonder, but the Arthur Morgan we got ended you being one of the greatest video game characters of all time. So I wouldn't change anything.
Honestly, micah wouldve shit his pants in all chapters, he wouldnt be talking to arthur this bad💀
Im famous😃👍
they should have mosty definitelty made him colder, like the trailers suggest.
I like the way it is made that emotions and feeling for the character were mostly put in the end.
"Oh, you don't know how long I've waited for this black lu-
**Mink, mink, mink, mink** "WAITED FOR WHAT NOW?" **Bow, Bow, BOW**
This Arthur would’ve tore Micah up at the start😂 of
I 100% rather this one, especially if Arthur won the fight against Micah
“I’ll kill you again in hell my friend” Arthur Morgan
*low honor jingle*
He sounds like that candy guy from django
I wish we got this Arthur. This eoukd make his story much more impactful even when he gets TB. And his deatg would hurt even more since he could die hopelessly like his child did and he would die knowing he never got to see his child grow up. I wish he was like this, and I wish he looked the way he does in the art shown in the video. It's so sad we couldn't play this version of Arthur. 😭
Arthur with micahs personality:
Its ment to be dark and realistic after all.
They made it so he lost a son years before. While he was away the girl and his son were killed by bandits. It's part of his dialogue during one of the missions with eagle flies I think.
The visual and audio changes were good but he should've been this cold
Original Arthur face looks like he got an allergic reaction or stung by a wasp on his nose lol
Or an alcoholic🗿
This would've made the story mutch better
his hairstyle if first few scenes 😂😂😂
Bro got that javier style
What i wonder is that if this had been kept in, who would he have had that baby with
The baby was Isaac.
Too dark for the beginning of the game but if it was right before he found out he was sick it would have worked better
Dutch turned bro into a machine…
Bro had that dbd deathslinger chuckle.
It's not. Arthur always had a good heart deep inside and always cared about Abigail, Jack and John.
John is the OG member along with him, basically his little bro, Abigail is sweet and nice, jack is basically his nephew (also prob reminds him of his dead son)
Design art and his voice is sick no honour system just hell rating
I liked the voice but not how he looked like but i prefer this version i wish they did so we can choose to play both versions if we want to
He’s a great balance of kindness and grit tbh. He didn’t need to be colder

BRO IMAGINE IF YOU HAVE LOW HONOUR ARTHUR WILL BE LIKE THID
It wouldn't have mattered if this Arthur fought Micah cuz he still would've been too weak from the TB
Bruh that voice is so much better should've used that voice
I liked the Arthur we got more. But I would love to see us play as one of the Callander boys in rdr3 as prequel to rdr2. I have always imagined the Callander boys to act like this
Callendar bros would make arthur and john look like school boys
