It's unbelievable how much I've become so familiar with Casey, watching constantly his vlogs, that now, listening to this incredible movie artist, cause that's what I think he is, talking about his passion and his lifetime, is literally like witnessing an old friend getting finally the recognition he deserves!
This speech is so on point. Casey has done some incredible things in the last few years (it's now 2017), and I'm a die-hard follower. As successful as he gets I hope he looks back at this night and thinks, "there's a night when I was on fire - there's a speech where I brought everything I had." His comedic timing was excellent. His message was clear, strong, and well-planned. His work may speak for itself, but here, he spoke for it and made it even better.
Awesome video clip. Going to the Nantucket Project as an attendee is def. on my bucket list. So many awesome people coming to speak about so many interesting things. Great Job on your talk Casey...
I love what he says about 'seeing the hand that makes it'. I find I enjoy modern films less today as everything is so crisp and perfect. The contrasts, the ultra high definition. I find a lot of new films to be cold where as old films had a warmth, that human touch, which makes them much more engaging for me.
He makes me proud to be making these little raggedy films, btw you guys should check them out. but yeah he is one of my few role models and i love the way he approaches a lot of things and i love his movies.
Very important theme here about the benefits of using a real, raw, style in film-making. As Casey says, it can turn people off progressing as they strive for higher standards, when appeal can come from a simple, but good, idea.
poetical. he talks about how he had "minimal resources". now he flies 1600 dollar drones and throws 2000 dollar cameras out the window while flying in his personal helicopter to the airport. hard work and grind comes a long way.
What U understood from the vlogs is that he does not have a personal helicopter or private jet, but he received offers and invitations from jet companies like " wheels up to fly for free. Peace
Casey Awesome Video especially the part about FB and thefact that it is a true Seth pool it really is. I go on to say hello to my family but I truly think it is a major waste of time and nothing but Drama and B.S..I will all go on to see people who worked with me for twenty years and know more about me then most, because I spent so much time with Beautiful people. What is really sad is how this site turns everything nice and can totally turn the nicest thing into B.S. Garbage because in my eyes it Drama ,lies, and nothing what people are about period. The only time I will spend on it is to say hello to family that live far away or friends that are not close by.Other then that like Nana said waste of time.Awesome Video loved it Deb.
+Jithin Majeed starts from 8:42 basically he's saying embrace the resources that are available to you. He talks about CGI and how that may intimidate some people but he himself prefers handmade backgrounds and things he considers tangible.
Billy Cheong In his vlog he actually said that he sat on his idea of Beme for a while. And that was actually one of the only things he sat on because usually he executes his ideas as soon as he has them.
Not a troglodyte, but I never had a facebook a/c....no need...call, text, email letter, wave, doorstep etc etc ....multiple posts, cos I thought that there are a lot of points here in Casey's vid....sorry if it's annoying
If only Casey Neistat were a actual film maker. Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg are film makers. This guy has limited experience in video production and plays by his own rules which tells you one thing...he does not work well with others which is essential in video production. As for his ability to tell a story. Worthy of a small box, RUclips
+Lala Loepsie Having personally worked in the motion picture industry for over 20 years...that's exactly what it means. He is not a good collaborater for commercially viable production.
He prefers to work without a team. He has said it many times in a vlog. He wants to make his own decisions and do what he likes and not what people expect from him
+Lala Loepsie Well...that's about as far as his career will go. The moment he stops making (at present, piss poor quality) small minded youtube videos...he will be forgotten
Client Videos He is youtuber of the year., so he won't be forgotten very quickly...The way he makes videos inspires 99% of all the vloggers and a lot of other content creators. Maybe he will be forgotten in 10 years, but his movie making skills won't

All of Casey's talks are SUPER motivating and inspiring. It makes me want to better myself as I'm watching.
He's even badass in front of an audience.
He's got style :)
Am I the only one who can hear his heartbeat??
+Sandile Magadlela I thought I was crazy
Casey is so amazingly eccentric. Anyone notice his numbered pants no. "4". ?
think that's a pen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was embroidered somewhere
Numbered pants lol
Those notes really helped him.
Casey is actually a natural comedian....just thought he was sarcastic sometimes....KUDOS TO HIM!
"in this case the toothache is a total loss of privacy". I wonder how Casey would weigh in on that now.
''don't fuck up!" :D
You could tell he was a little nervous. His hearbeat was racing
casey neistat is a god
Casey is definitely a film god!!! He is so amazingly talented!!!
Casey is always so inspiring to hear!
Great talk Casey, who else went to have a look at their privacy settings straight after this haha
It's cool to see how much his film making has progessed
before the boosted boards and drones?

"735 cops didn't like this" LMAO
14:02 IS THAT NERDWRITER?

So motivational!
This guy is brilliant
....and it takes huge ballz to stand up and talk to a group and be natural
The Facebook movie is brilliant!
9:34 Did he just quote Ansel Adams?! lol ...

+Jithin Majeed starts from 8:42 basically he's saying embrace the resources that are available to you. He talks about CGI and how that may intimidate some people but he himself prefers handmade backgrounds and things he considers tangible.
+Jithin Majeed 10:46 he gets closer to the title. Hope this helps.
+Nanette Nette Thanks :) ! I based a video of mine on 'perfection'. So I needed Casey's lines. Thanks again.
haha that intro is priceless
Casey already have #BeMe idea five years ago.
Billy Cheong In his vlog he actually said that he sat on his idea of Beme for a while. And that was actually one of the only things he sat on because usually he executes his ideas as soon as he has them.

Because he prefers to work by himself instead of with a group means he can't work with other people?
