Epic Fight Animations actually isn't fully updated to support the latest version of Epic Fight. Nor is Yamato Moveset (You have to heavily downgrade Epic Fight's version to use Yamato Moveset without issues, and Epic Fight Animations only accounts for the older animation style) WoM, Infernal Gainers, Epic Fight Battle Styles, and the ACG Addon are the only ones that work just fine with the latest version of EFM

fun fact about the mod at 1:26 in case you didn't know: Yamato was a weapon featured in the Devil May Cry game series and as far as I saw (or at least what you showed in the video) the mod features three attacks from the games, namely: Combo A (and if I saw correctly then it was the DT/SDT version of it), Judgement Cut (the superfast sword draw) and Rapid slash

Altough all these mods are insanely well animated and visually impressive, I would much prefer a more grounded fight addon with slower attacks for more commitment but high reward. I wish to feel less like a anime charakter and more like someone trying to roughly survive

if you want barely survive there are mod that add new mobs and mods to scale mob lvl and difficulty eather based on player skill , distance from spawn , or demeton toss in a exploration mod to for the adventure to thougher fights and you should have a good time

@@xivilaikikira3768 I do mean with focus on the Epic Fight mod. There are plenty addons for it turning one into a anime super warrior, but I personally would prefer to have animations and weapon behavior as if my character struggles to swing big pieces of iron. A bit like in Monster Hunter - Impactful but rather slow, where attacks require commitment.

the yamato mod is heavily outdated, you're gonna have to change the Epic Fight mod version to use it, so keep going down versions until you dont get the error

I don't think it will work, but you can try installing it with Epic Fight. I tried it with another mod before, and it worked, but it's not as good as the mods in the video

You can integrate spartan weaponry weapons and other weapons yiurself so they have epicfight animations via the config file. But as for spartan weaponry, there's alr some config made by others that integrated it to epicfight.

@StudiosTD but all of the techniques and combat used in this mod were from an older time period. It all influences off of that archived perspective. All martial arts are old in some way. No art of fighting or combat is really new, even in weapon standards.

It’s not that he was too lazy to animate the skill for the Yamato mod it’s a weapon from devil may cry and that is one of the moves that Vergil can use with the weapon
Edit also it’s not just a fast slash but it’s also ranged because Vergil uses it to hit enemy’s which are further away
