A Quick Stop by Colorado's New and Only Buc-ee's location!

Buc-ee's just opened their 60th location in Johnstown, CO. We were so excited, we made a trip to the new store to grab some beaver nuggets, beef jerky, and BBQ lunch. Buc-ee's is widely known in Texas and rapidly growing to locations across the US. They are know for their numerous gas pumps, good food, and clean restrooms.
According to Buc-ee's, "Ever since our inception in 1982, we have been committed to providing a clean, friendly, and in stock experience for our customers. Regardless of where you may find us, if the store is big or small, near or far, the mission remains the same." Even though the store had only been open for a week, was crowded with people, the shelves stayed stocked, the staff was friendly and the food was great! This is the first Buc-ee's in Colorado and we hope there are more to come.

Haha!! It wasn’t so bad when we got there. When we left the line was backed up over 2 miles on the interstate.
We haven’t been to one in years. Glad they are expanding.

We are a house divided. Shelley loves Buccees- me not so much. It’s like a zoo lol 😂. They do have a good brisket sandwich though. And I dig the beaver nuggets to o.

I do find that they get a little too busy. I’d avoid the new one in Colorado for a year or so until it settles down!
