For me, the best part is that the black musicians of the day loved Elvis because he went out of his way to bring black musicians up with him. He would not do gigs if his black backup singers couldn't join him.

Frankly, this whole "He stole from black culture" thing sounds like an attempt to demonize white people through revisionist history and BS accusations. He heard some music he liked and made his own version. That's what literally EVERY musician has done throughout all of human history. Every song you sing falls into a genre that somebody else created. Does that mean you are stealing from them?
Just a friendly recommendation it’s not pausing that annoys people it’s the constant rewinding. I don’t mind pausing but you pause it, rewind it, say a thought, let it play, and then rewind it again to say another thought about the same thing. In my opinion it’s best to say every thought on a bar in one pause

Bill Haily was another I'd put in Elvis category for creativity, as he also blended Country Hillbilly swing music with blues.
