Kinda have to throw the whole comparison away if you aren't using the same blades on each tool. Nice to see that all saws can rip through such a large piece of timber at full depth though.
Idc what anyone says I love my xgt 40v rear handle saw I’ve had it for 2 months and it’s the only saw I will grab any more I’ve used the Milwaukee the dewalt and the skilsaw all cordless and that Makita is just so smooth.
The Metabo hpt doesn’t belong in that class since it isn’t a rear handle. But I think it held its own. We need a part 2 now that Metabo came out with a rear handle
Great video, thanks for sharing. I'm a DeWalt guy and don't mind conceding that the Makita 40v seems to have more power. My issue is that there's no backwards compatibility w the 40v packs and the 18v tools. Still, great tools and you gotta respect a tool company that is still independently owned
Wouldn’t say that but I do think Makita has the best saws and Mitres. I’m looking to get a Makita rear handle and mitre myself. Anything cutting wise I feel Makita is the best if you want a smooth accurate cut. I’m most on milwaukees platform and I believe when it comes to drills they have the edge across the board and sawzall as they invented it but saws Makita for sure and specialty quirky items I’d say Makita. Love the innovation.
Maybe he should have used 1 brand of new blades for this test. Seems like an unfair advantage for the Makita with its new blade while the other saws have used blades. I love my Dewalt tools, but their warranty is garbage! So I'm getting into the Makita 40v line. Always liked their tools and now more so cause they way better water resistant than Dewalt and Milwuakee.
Some kid did a comparison with all the rear handle saws and a few of the sidewinder and dewalt was the fastest he used the same Diablo blade on all the saws
*MAKITA KILLED, METABO WAS AWESOME FOR THE PRICE 36V SAW FOR 99.00 / DEWALT TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT, DEWALT SAW AND 60 VOLT BATTERY, ABOUT 3X COST OF METABOS*
Iv got the dewalt and it’s impossible to find a blade with the diamond bore bigger than a millimetre in the uk and it wobbles like an old bike wheel , makes a great paper weight tho
Makita is a good saw. Not as powerful as the flexvolt. Those makita blades are junk. Stay away from them. The tend to overhear then bend/flex all over the cuts. It can't cut or rip lp siding, 1x material and worse, pt. Had a hell of a time cutting stair tread with it. Stick with Diablo or marathon blades.

Makita's kicking ass and taking names!

Dame I have the dewalt and Milwaukee my co worker has the makita and it feels smooth
Any saw feels smooth with a brand new blade
Wait till a year of work 2 months is nothing
@@rebelr4161 I've had my 36v for 2 years and it's still smooth, makitas are just like that

Won’t doubt an adapter will come soon of some sort almost every tool has some good or not
@@carlosestrada8542 can't make a dedicated 40v battery make only 18v bud lol
The Metabo HPT saw is still pretty impressive for being the oldest there. Wish they would come out with a Gen-2 Multivolt and a Rear Handle.
I'm pretty sure the DeWalt is the oldest. It is quite the impressive saw for a sidewinder
MAY 2022 OR EARLIER METABO HAS REAR HANDLE. BUT NEEDS A PRICE DROP. IT;S 200.00. RIGHT NOW CAN GET MAKITA REAR HANDLE, 36V (2X18) FOR 100 ON EBAY.*
Blade is the difference. Unless they're all new how can you know?
Makita the #1
Makita wins most tool battles yet people continue to hate. You know you are doing something right when the haters come out:]

Do it they're real nice. Im slowly building up my xgt line

Makita deffinintly the fastest about 22 seconds compare to about 35 for dewalt 😂😂👍
Yes that saw is smooth. They all need the same blades for a proper test

Makita so grazy fast.

Skilsaw! I have the cordless worm drive skilsaw... It's a beast!
Not really a hood comparison. Try putting Diablo blades on every saw instead of giving that advantage to just one of them.
Totally! You have a good saw no matter which one you own. They're all solid
@@TLCConstruction I just bought the DeWalt DCS 577. It’s an absolute beast.
Makita had a newer blade
DeWalt used old blade😂😂😂.
You must buy 3 new blade and repeat the test.
Макита -рвёт!!!
El dewalt tenia un disco muy viejo

Come on . need same blade. If makita won imagine if it had the diablo blade.
